Clay's opinion about anything is worth as much as flies boo-boo. He'll be out of the lime-light soon. So who cares what he thinks.

Clay's apology? WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT? It didnt seem like an apology at all. He even has the nerve (still) to criticize the fans of Adam...that we do not have more important things on our minds? Shup up, Clay Aiken. You are the one that looks so scary and frightening! Gosh, look at yourself first before criticizing people...

Clay is a bitter jealous jerk. He said in the original blog that he only watches the show for 1 minute each season. So how did he see enough of Adam's performance in 1 minute to form an opinion? How did he see enough of the AI show to form this negative opinion in that 1 minute. He said he never saw Kris sing but Kris should be the winner. Clay lies constantly and he has lost most of his fans.

I am so disappointed at his attitude...I pulled for him while he was on Idol, knew he was gay, which would never deter me for voting for anyone...I was upset at Kelly Ripka as I thought her behavior was disrespectful toward Clay when he guest hosted....Adam is a different talent, I would venture to say the best on Idol yet...I do not see why Clay is so bitter...the day before the finale, Kris announces he did not want "Christians" to vote for him because of his christianity, but vote for talent(what an odd and convienent time to get the message out to the homophiles)...that sure did not happen...of course Kris got Danny's Christian votes, who would vote for a gay man in this climate..I am disappointed and surprised about Clay Aiken's attitude...as much as I admired him, without Idol he would still be in a class room and not have the opportunity to be an ambassador to his causes...Clay, we as humans are entitled to have opinions and that does not make myself, as well as others not havin

Clay was referring to Lambert's version of Ring of Fire not the man himself. Love how you manage to take everything out of context! While I personally do not believe he owed an apology to anyone because he is entitled to his opinion I applaud him for his maturity in doing so. I also will state he was TOTALLY ACCURATE ON ALL COUNTS! Mr. Aiken did not state that everyone should focus on world poverty instead of AI, He was referring to bloggers such as yourself, who LOVE to DISTORT EVERYTHING TO THEIR ADVANTAGE.

I don't understand, either, why you have a problem. Everyone makes mistakes. I think it was a good thing for Clay to admit his choice of wording was poor (even though I agreed with every word). And why is it "self-righteous"? Sounds like he called it pretty accurately to me.
