California is a liberal minded state. That was the point and expectation of pres hilton is asking his question. I mean California voted overwhelmingly for Obama......and in keeping with that, of course, we would embrace marriage between guys, gals and assorted animals and household items. But guess what pres hil - the majority of Californians said - the def. of marriage is between a man and woman. Be gay, don't care - just don't attack other's view points. Man, it makes you fools look like a 3 year old having tantrums in the grocery store because your mom won't let you open and eat the ant poison. Just an outsider looking in and that's how I see it. I really don't care about all this. What are gay dudes even doing at a beauty pagent? Fashion ideas???

I'm a white male and former Marine. My best friend in the corps was a "dark" Marine and my best friend since becoming a civilian 20 years ago is full on gay...In fact he (Rodney) would prefer "fag." When we drive somewhere and I say" go straight" he says "forward straight has such negative connotations." Carrie is drop dead gorgeous & those beach photos pre-enhancement are remarkable. I am a born again Christain who drinks a few beers a glass of wine or a mixed drink now and then. As long as it is not to excess these are not sins. Anything to excess is concidered a sin and that includes food. So a person weighing 500 lbs is as much a sinner as a drunk laying on the steet. As for as what Carrie does or says she and she alone will answer to God. The same goes for you if you are gay. A sin is a sin no matter how large or small. There will be a judgement day for all of us and God will sort it all out. In the mean time I say keep on doing what your doing Carrie.

This discussion is all so bewidering. I am a Christian also. It appears that all of this came about because of a comment that Carrie believed in and some of you don't. Why so angry and abusive. No one is asking you to to believe what she does . Why are there people who always want to break down a person who says they are Christian? or a person who doesn't agree with you, for that matter? A Christian believes in God's word and God tells us that marriage is between a man and a women and that it is wrong for a man to "sleep" with a man or a woman to "sleep" w a woman.
