Perez Hilton Poses Gay Marriage Question to Miss California

Last night, Kristen Dalton was crowned Miss USA.

While the hopeful motivational speaker clearly earned the crown on her own merit, it didn't hurt when Carrie Prejean (Miss California) lost the support of one judge following her response to his question in the interview round.

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton asked Prejean for her opinion on the legalization of gay marriage.

After stumbling through an answer that included how great it is for America to give its citizens the choice of same-sex unions versus those involving the opposite sex, Prejean said she was raised to believe marriage is only between a man and a woman.

Gay Marriage Question

Our staff is as pro-gay marriage as we are anti-Perez Hilton, so we're equally disappointed by Miss California's reply.

How do you feel about it? Leave a comment. Let us know!

Our country was founded on biblical principals. Jesus shows us to love the sinner but not the sin. Although we are all sinners, we need to come to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and repent of our sins. Our great country is being hijacked by the anti-Christ by misinterpreting the separation of Church and State. The government shall not make no laws restricting religion but that is exactly what they are doing. Also, if we can have an adulterer as a president, there should not be a problem with a half nude model (couldn't see anything) as Miss California.

Perez Hilton is a loser and a pathetic gay boy. If he can't handle the truth, then don't ask the question.

How in the world did Perez Hilton become a judge on the Pageant? Hes so lame, he didnt even know who won the contest. "ms south carolina or ms north carolina whatever" DUMB ASS! marriage should be only between a man and a woman. ONLY.

I saw Mr. Perez Today Show and Mr.Perez called Ms. California out of her name, language I don't care to repeat. Mr. Perez claims the pageant should not be uses to promote political or religious point of view. Maybe I'm mistaken but last time I checked the issue with gay marriage would fall under the realm of politics. While he is venting, was he not voicing his point of view. A person loses the rational when they go off on some tantrum.
If you lack the ability to at least respect a person's honest answer, I feel the question should never have been asked especially during a beauty pageant. I'm sure they could have found a more relevant question.

It has been almost a week since the pageant, and I am still fuming at the hatred towards Carrie Prejean for giving an honest answer to a very difficult and "loaded" question. A marriage should only be between a man and a woman, PERIOD! Let's stop trying to justify and legalize a "lifestyle" choice. Call it what you may, but don't try to make it into a marriage. Perez Hilton should never have made it into the group of judges for the pageant. When a TV network tries to influence our national opinion, via Perez Hilton, it is time to change the channel. Miss USA represents our nation, not some pro-gay rights individuals in Hollywood. She represented her state well, where 70% of the voters also support her. I am sure that the national percentage is even higher.

Perez, your fighting the wrong battle here. You need to keep your own thoughts to YOURSELF.I feel she had a right to express her beliefs. Bring Jesus back into our lifes so we dont have this kind of stupidity in our world.
