A cancer-stricken Farrah Fawcett was fighting for her life Sunday night at an L.A. hospital where she slipped into unconsciousness as her relatives gathered by her bedside, hoping for a recovery but preparing for the opposite outcome.
The former Charlie's Angels star, now 62, has been in an undisclosed hospital since Thursday, and her declining health has a team of doctors fearing the worst.
Fawcett has been ravaged by her second bout with a rare form of colorectal cancer since 2006. Her longtime lover, actor Ryan O'Neal, was at her bedside.
Adding to the family drama was the arrest of Redmond O'Neal, her son, on drug charges - specifically, allegations that he tried to smuggle drugs into a jail.
Redmond O'Neal, 24, who had earlier joined his dad at his mother's bedside, was busted when he drove a friend to a detention facility in Santa Clarita, Calif., and guards found drugs on him at a checkpoint. Always a smart move, Red.

I prayed for you, today, I have been. You are truly an angel, not just a Charlies' Angel. When I was teenager, I had my hair like yours, really, I was pretty back then. You still have prayers going up to heaven, and we are sending one for your Ryan, he's always been kool.....God Bless. JP

There is nothing to say except how very sorry I am for Farrah and her family and her ever loving Ryan. I have always been a fan of Farrah she is an absolute angel and not just Charlie's. When I think of how Ryan has been there to take care of her it reminds me of his movie from long ago called "Love Story" and Farrah is Ali McGraw, this just breaks my heart, but I know that the angels in heaven will rejoice when she joins them, and she will wait for her loving family and Ryan with no more pain. God bless you Farrah I love you.
