why can't people who love each other just be allowed to marry? like brothers and sisters (they can always adopt!)? Why can't we marry our pets? WHY?!?! IF WE LOVE EACH OTHER THEN NOTHING ELSE SHOULD MATTER!
In the gay community, our sexual urges cause us to be sooooo discriminated against! Like when we go to the grocery store, as soon as people see the big "G" on our forheads, they start treating us rude!

I am a christian,and i thought that America was built on the bible. She was 100% correct based on Almighty God's view of marriage, & since He is the one Who created man & instituted marriage, He has the final say. Why is it that the gay population who wants their orientation tolerated - doesn't tolerate anyone with opposing views? Because Carrie was raised on conservative traditional values, those of which made the foundation of our great nation, she is hated and attacked. I don't fully agree with Prejean. although I think she is beautiful, should have won, and is very smart for her age. I believe many people are born with a strong propensity to be gay--in a sense, sort-of-gay--because of curses, in particular generational familial curses. The carriers of curses are demons. To be fair to gays, demons influence many other vices besides gay activity. Gays, as well as most people, are in need of exorcisms, self or assisted. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil.

This pretty girl sure says a lot about things she doesn't know anything about. I am going to assume she is more-or-less heterosexual. I say more-or-less because almost all people are bisexual to some degree (there are very few 100% gay and 100% straight folk in the world).

I believe you misunderstood my point. That's fine. I can explain myself further. I didn't say that EVERY gay is disrespectful because they believe they should have the right to be married. I said the gays who do not respect religion and storm in to churches or call people names who stand up fro their beliefs are disrespectful. You are never going to get everyone to believe the same thing. And calling people names or storming in to a place or worship is the wrong way to deal with people who do not agree with your ideas.
I believe in God and go to church. I don't throw a fit and call people names when they say they are atheist because everyone has a right to their own decisions in life. I also don't say unless you believe the way I believe, I am going to hold it against you.

Although identical twins have the same genotype, or DNA, they have different phenotypes, meaning that the same DNA is expressed in different ways.
Traits determined by phenotype, such as fingerprints and physical appearance, are the result of "the interaction of the individuals genes and the developmental environment in the uterus." Thus, a DNA test can't determine the difference between identical twins, while a simple fingerprint can.
So, DNA can be the same while its expression can vary. That's why identical twins do not look exactly alike and why they do not behave exactly the same.
Plus, we are discovering new things about genes every day. To make the damning assumption that being gay is a choice based on the story of straight/ gay identical twins is ludicrous.
My hope is that people will stop judging other people based on their lifestyles.

Alzheimer's is not a dichotomous genetic condition. There are "risk indicators" but no gene linked to "causing" it. This is the point. There is no single part of DNA which guarantees homosexuality, just as there is no gene that guarantees alzheimers. Unraveling all the causes of Alzheimer's is a work in progress but it has been proven to NOT be pre-ordained just by genes. Did you just gloss over that whole part about environmental factors? Alzheimers has environmental causes such as exposure to aluminum... a factor that would be affected by people's choices in life. Do you really think homosexuality is just some degenerative disorder for which you might find a "cure"? I think many would be insulted by your characterization of what they themselves characterize as "life choices".

Is Alzheimer's a choice? Our genetic inheritance is more than just our "genes", it also is our expression. Even if born with the same genetic profile, your "program" will shift course over time. Think about baseball...Chipper Jones went 0/5 one day, and then 2/4 the next and 3/4 the next. Is he the same hitter each day? Yet the result was different.
Likewise, you cannot say that gays are not born that way simply because two "identical" twins turn out to be not identical when it comes to sexual orientation.

First of all, I don't understand how relevant asking about gay marriage is to the pageant, especially if you are well known gay with an obvious agenda behind your question. Donald Trump was going to make over the pageant but now all the glamour and class has been replaced with an angry little freak with too much attention and a power complex. This is so funny about some gays. They want to shove their ideas in everyones face. Well guess what. My children don't need to see two men making out and groping. People forget that marriage was created to procreate. The law allows gays to have rights but the sanctity of marriage stays intact. Kudos to her for knowing her answer would obviously mean she did not win. Not many people will stand up for their morals. I'm sure Perez would sell himself out for a dollar and a media mention. I couldn't care less how gays come about. I couldn't care less if they have a civil union to provide them with the same legal rights as straight people. But I would like to be able to tell my children that there is a commitment called marriage that two people enter into when they decide to have children and raise a family. At least they'll be aware there is another life style before they are bombarded by all of the gay activism, gay Hollyweird celebrities and current round of television sitcoms presenting the gay life style.
