With judges like Perez Hilton, the reputation of the Miss USA beauty pageant has been reduced to a farce. Carrie Prejean had every right to answer the way she did. The liberal left just doesn't like it because she stated her opposing views on live TV that reached an audience of millions. Perhaps they fear that she may persuade the masses. They want to stifle any opinion that conflicts with their own. Also, too many folks have been hammering her because of her spotty articulation. How would you like it if cameras were on you and judges staring in your face and the world is hanging on your every word? You'd be nervous as hell. She was extremely gracious under all that pressure.

i was very happy she answer the question the way she did. i mean just casue u ask someone on gay marriage does not mean they r goin to say yes. i think its so unfair that we can't speak our mind. if we disagree with it than fine. so everybody ant for it and we dont have to be. im not for gays but i dont hate them but i believe it's wrong and it's against my belief. all this talk about being happy and God loves u well yes he does but not u being gay. it's in the bible read it. this pist me off but im glad she stood up for what she believed in. i would 2. i dont care if u dont like me but kiss my butt. every knee will bow and every touge will confess that gay is wrong. sorry but In the King James Version, Leviticus 18:22 is translated: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." it says it in the bible u so call christians who think it's okay!!!!

Perez hilton is a BAFOON and always has been. Look at what he does to any celebrity whom he thinks is or might be gay......He outs them against their wishes....so are we surprised he did this??? He asked the question and she answered.....let's not forget 86% of calif. is against gay marriage. he has the stipidity to say she lost because she was politicly incorrect. Perez needs to get a life and leave people alone and stop embarrasing regular gay people who what to be left alone....BTW Who the hell is Perez Hilton, and why does anyone listen or can anything about him?????? He is a big losser also, I live in Mass. and we never got to vote on the gay marriage question....it was jammed down our throats by a very corrupt legislature....WHY WAS THAT??????????

Perez Hilton is a coward! Don't ask a question you don't want the answer to. Miss USA is nothing more than a bikini contest. Does he really think she is some sort of powerful, eloquent politician that is going to represent the gay community. Gays should tone down their speech, nobody is going to take this small minority seriously when they act like brats! I guess the louder they scream the more they think they will get what they want. Maybe in San Francisco with twosome Newsome, who should just come out of the closet, but not in the majority of California. All I have to say is the gays should thank their lucky stars they don't live in Iraq, Iran, Cuba, Pakistan, or Columbia, because there males would have no testicles and women no clitoris.

Why was this question even asked in the first place. Do her beliefs in this case have anything to do with character or morals as is usually based in a defining pagent question. And then after giving her answer and explaining in a very respectful way, she is shunned by the pagent. Rediculous!! I have no problem with gay marriage at all. If it doesn't affect me or my family personally then what right do I have to complain. What I do have a problem with is somebody trying to tell me what I believe or should feel as they were doing in carrie's case here. After all isn't that the fight all homosexuals are faceing now.......people trying to tell them its not right to be gay. No everyone has to believe the same as long as there is tolerance and understanding in the world
