WTF???? We all KNEW he really wanted Molly, and he picked Melissa because she looked like Deanna; who btw... WTF was she thinking trying to come back and complicate things even further???
The bottom line is that this show just plays on real people's emotions and yes they get HURT....BIG TIME! Too bad for all the players. ABC is lucky they don't have crazy stalker's blowin' up stuff when they get their hearts broken!

The funny thing is if he just picked Molly from the beggining instead of dragging Mellissa's heart through the mud, ABC wouldve gained veiwers for future seasons because of the realness... hell ABC just shot themselves in the foot...

I am so upset with Jason dumping Melissa. Every time I saw Molly, she looked like her eyes were going to bug out her head and those teeth. She looked like she was going to take a bite out of something every time she spoke.

Agreed! She looks like she is possessed. All they do is freaking slobber all over each other, it seems like more of a physical attraction. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!! I was soo shocked, all along giving Jason sympathy and hoping he found someone, and he dumps Melissa. Gosh, what a jerk. She will find someone, and jason had that something good and let her go! Natasha Bryan (two comments up) are you for real? You must be a stupid 24 year old like Molly. What transpired on the show tonight was wrong. Jason is a fickled ass who needs lots of therapy, Molly is a dumb blonde who can't get another man, so she excepts being second. Melissa, you deserve so much more, someone so much better. Maybe Melissa should hook up with that tall, dark and handsome lawyer (that was from Dallas) that Deanna dumped. I pray that you will find the man of your dreams!!!!! I hope that this show is done- it exploits men and women for ratings!!!!!

Molly was the one, I think that the whole Melissa parent not being involved was maybe something of a hiding. Melissa seemed very immature and unsure of what her future was and possibly looking for that knight in shining armour, Molly was well grounded, had a good career and really knew what she wanted. I cant believe he chose Melissa and I am not surprised that things ended, I dont think she was honest. I didnt like that he broke up with her on national tv and started immeditely making out with
Molly, that was all just toooooo much!

The purpose of my piece is for others to recognize that Melissa is not miss perfect:
If I could say something to Melissa Rycroft I would tell her that what I am going to say is not something she wants to hear, initially, but something that she needs to stop and think about. What I will say might change her life, on a positive note. First there are some things that I need to inform her pertaining to my knowledge and perspective of her. I am 110% speaking from my perspective only. Rather than speaking about her past, my perspective of her is based plainly through what I saw of watching The Bachelor 13. From what stood out about Melissa to me is what I will talk about. I will lay the foundation by saying: I do not want to cause an argument with her nor her fans, but instead lay the chips on the table and let them do the talking.
From the first episode my impression of Melissa did not go well from the start, in fact she is the way I expected her to be. If you read on you will be convinced of the type of person I believe she perceives to be; blunt, selfish, self-centered, and on the bachelor as a contestant there for the wrong reason. I believe that Jason did not know what was going on between the contestants, so therefore during the show. I believe that he had no clue about the chaos that was happening between the girls from the start. (Don’t get me wrong, I seriously do not have a clue what Jason knew or did not know while filming.)
Why do I believe Melissa is blunt? She always has something to say, whether it is about Jason, someone else, or someone else’s comment/opinion. For example, from the first night Melissa states in front of other contestants, “Should I change into the wedding dress I brought?” Now why in the world would you say something like that? Especially on the first impression night! What Melissa said proved to others and America that this girl is here to win, the final rose that is and nothing else. This proves that she was obviously there for the wrong reason. Also, while in the limo that same night sitting next to Natalie, I think it was Raquel who was saying that Jason’s smile was cute, and then Melissa gives her input by saying, “It is, that’s what I always said. He just looks so genuine and so ooooo.” So how long has Melissa been saying that? Not long at all.
Why do I believe that Melissa is self-centered and selfish? No doubt, she does get jealous every single time she sees Jason with someone else. When she gets jealous and thinks, she displays it physically whether it be sticking her tongue out in grotesque or moving her lips in ways that are inappropriate like shifting them to one side or saying something uncalled for. For example, in episode four when she saw too many girls kiss Jason on the set of General Hospital she got jealous and publicly declared that she was jealous. In fact she did not like seeing the kissing and it got harder for her to watch. When Naomi was kissing Jason, Melissa said “Lauren!” telling Lauren to hurry up so that Naomi and Jason can hurry up and stop kissing. Also, Melissa was the only person to say, “Please don’t do it again! Please don’t do it again!” Another selfish remark to Naomi, “I think I’ve had about all the making out with Jason and everybody else in the house, except me that I can handle.” She was making herself believe that Jason was hers and that she had feelings for him because she was being a control freak. The kissing thing with the other girls proves that Melissa is competitive, for the wrong reason; in fact it shows when she did not get to kiss him like she wanted. Not fair!
I do believe that Melissa appears to be someone who she really isn’t. She concentrated on the other contestants way too much. She complains too much about other people. For example, I can’t believe that she cried on Jason’s shoulder and told him that she can’t stand seeing him with other girls and that she wants him to herself. She supposedly believes that she’s ready to start a family, but yet her personality shows that she’s not. She’s not fully convinced nor was ever! She’s very competitive as I mentioned, flirty, athletic, and obviously attractive (don’t get me wrong). I believe Melissa has not proven to herself who she is and what she wants because I do not feel convinced that Melissa is ready to settle down at all! I never believed she was right for Jason from the start.
Watching the after the final rose episode I do believe that Melissa’s true colors came out. Her mini strapless dress showed us that she cares too much about her reputation of looking her best. She also kept repeating herself saying that she doesn’t get it and why, why, why. I believe that she was disrespectful to Jason as he was talking, she totally looked like she wasn’t even listening to what he said, nor cared about what he was trying to tell her. How dare her do that when she’s the one wanting answers! Calling Jason a bastard was very inappropriate! That proved that she is very childishly immature and cannot hold her head up. She needs to understand that Jason made a mistake and had mixed feelings. He did not do anything to you intentionally. Jason has not been partial to anyone in judging people, based on what he has seen, so when Jason tells you that he did love you at that moment, believe him. Melissa, if you want to find the answer, watch the entire show and make a self-examination by asking yourself questions like why did I do this, or why did I say that, what made me do this, and say that? Hopefully you can learn from your mistakes in order to find out who you are and know what you truly really want.

I was thinking Jason might go back to Deanna, which would have made me sick. I was thrilled when he chose Michelle and thought she was perfect. She's sweet, sincere and so real. I can't see him with Molly and think that his attraction to her is purely physical (shows where some men's brains are).
Melissa is better off without him. He wanted the best of both worlds and if you ask me, if he really was putting his son first, he'd have tried to make a relationship with Michelle. Why the heck did he have to propose!! That just added insult to injury. I think Jason is a real jerk and he'll probably end up a batchelor for life.

Poor Melissa, Jason is a JERK. I think Melissa and Richard(science teacher from Deanna's "dump) would make an adorable couple. I WILL NEVER WATCH THIS SHOW AGIAN!!

Evidently Jason decided to do the "right" thing. From Melissa's body language, she already knew they were not a match. Better to correct a mistake now than carry forward just because of the "public." And I believe Jason realized that he was drawn to Melissa initially because she looks very much like his ex-wife. The entire finale was worth watching just to see DeAnna GO DOWN. Loved that.

Well I do believe that you should follow your heart, But breaking up with Melissa on television was not the right thing to do, That should have been private and I think he's a jerk for doing that...I'm sure making a decision between 2 beautiful women was very difficult, But he should have followed his heart in the first place. I think Melissa and Molly are 2 great girls and they deserve the best, and I hope no matter what happens everything works out for the both of them....Melissa keep your head up high girl, you're a beautiful girl and I hope everything works out for you!!! And he will find out with Molly just like he did with Melissa that everything is not always perfect and I'm sure he will dump Molly too!!

WOAH, everyone. Are you suggesting that Jason marry Melissa because she is so perfect and sweet, EVEN if he realized (even belatedly) he doesn't love her and is not right for him? That would be far more cruel to her than marrying her. Can you imagine being placed in front of all those cameras with 25 girls competing for your attention, and try to think straight about who you really love and whose right for you. None of us could do it properly. I think Jason and Molly need time to sort it out AWAY from the cameras and pressure to get engaged in a few weeks. That's not real life. Jason should have picked Molly all along. He DID make a mistake that night he proposed to Melissa. He was getting pressure from mom to pick the 'family' girl over the 'career' girl. In reality,Jason always did love Molly bec. she is more mature, more graceful and more focused and less desperate than Melissa. She also knew that you can't really be 'ga ga' over someone right away and that it takes time to show you love someone. Melissa pretty much threw herself at Jason from the minute that she met him-NOT how love is supposed to work. It is a gradual getting to know each other and falling in love.
So the best of luck to Molly and Jason. And YES, Molly CAN still have a career, AND be focused on family, too. Isn't that what most women do anyway? They do work, at least par time, and raise a family? You can't lose yourself and goals. Just remember family comes first.

actually i think when he picked melissa i knew it was wrong, and so did molly. and eventually he relized he picked the wrong choice and he wanted her back. things werent working over for them, so he wanted molly back. its life guys, so stop saying he is a jerk.

All I can say is, "WOW!"... I hope this Jason realizes the "ASS" he has become to the ENTIRE country who tuned in! Melissa is better off. No doubt! Molly... well, classless. Plain and simple.. Im not a regular Bachelor fan but I did tune in to this one.. VERY sad for the quality of the show--- you could tell Molly and Jason had been "together" prior to the "breakup"... RUN MELISSA!! THANK YOUR LUCKY STARS! Hes a cry baby and a liar on top of it... Nice. Molly has zero on you girl! He knew you were out of his league... AND YOU ARE! Molly deserves him... any girl willing to be SECOND BEST is worth every bit of lash back... BAD SHOW!

If my mind don't change I will never watch the Bachelor again. I thought Jason was a good guy, but yet he is just a "bastard" like Melissa said. How can you purpose to someone, tell them you love them, and six weeks later tell them your over them. That is wrong! Melissa I wish you the best, I hope you find someone who will be perfect for you! You were my #1 Fan!!!!!

Jason is a total snake for what he did to Melissa, you cant decide if forever is going to work in six short weeks. Thats why they call it forever. If he was not 100% sure he never should have asked Melissa to marry him. As for Molly her true colors shined through at the end when she was originally sent home. He lost out on a good woman and I hope Melissa can find true happiness. As for Jason and Molly, good luck she is not mother material.

I must agree with most of you......Who would want to be with a jerk like that who doesnt have the respect for Melissa to dump her outside of the show. What will he turn around in 6 weeks and say "well i have to follow my heart and my head and have no regrets in life and explore things with DeAnna."
HE is certainly not the catch we all thought he was. No wonder he has so 2 other failed relationships........

I think you guys are taking this way too personal....wow...it's a show and it is not your lives.
Give the guy a break...throughout the ENTIRE season he said that he was falling for both....in love with both....he was upfront and truthful the whole show...show being the operative word here. In the finale they MAKE HIM pick one...with all that pressure and a fairy tale back drop and setting...what do you expect. I enjoyed this season and these girls ALL know what they are in for when they sign on....they have all watched the passed 16 seasons and so on and son on...so get a life and wish him the best of life with his choices....and Molly.

I hope Jason gets his heart broken. I'm just as bad a judge of character as Melissa, I actually thought he was a good guy! Poor Melissa, who already had self esteem issues and told Jason that she was always dumped, finally gets, as she thought " someone who treats me like I deserve and makes me so happy" only to have whats left of her self esteem smashed on t.v. and then pushed out the door so he can proclaim his undying love for someone else 2 seconds later. " oh, Ty....meet Deanna, shes gonna be your mommy.....Oh, Ty..Deanna broke daddys heart, but heres your new mommy Melissa! Oh, wait Ty....daddy changed his mind again, I think Molly will make a great mom for you." what a loser. If I was his ex-wife I wouldnt let him take a bunch of diffrent women around to "pet" my son like he was an animal at the zoo. Hopefully we all see Jason alone and crying some more.

watching jason mesnick on jimmy kimmel last night was proof positive that this guy now thinks he is god's gift to women and is anticipating more media opportunities and perhaps the chance to be a spokesperson for some product. He may get some opportunities to be on tv talk shows, where he will be put down royally, and advertisers won't touch him.
