Congratulations to Molly & Jason! I hope they are able to make a go of their relationship without all the media and public speculation. Jason showed amazing strength of character to make the change, which he knew would be unpopular. I liked Molly all along better than Melissa, but the decision wasn't mine to make. My best to Molly, Jason, and Ty!

SCREW JASON MESD*CK and MOLLY MEL-SKANK-NEY!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Lacey

MOLLY AND JASON ARE BOTH CRUEL AND SELFISH PEOPLE! Jason is a HORRIBLE father and he, Ty and SLUT BUCKET Molly should all leave the country! They are the most HATED individuals in the world! GO AWAY YOU EVIL SOULS! No one wants you here and WHO CARES about your relationship! HA! I cant wait until your relationship crashes and burns! You're a bunch of LOSERS and POOR hearted people! YOU DESERVE TO BE TOGETHER SO YOU CANT RUIN ANYMORE LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

  4. Amy

I feel so bad for Melissa! She said "Getting engaged is a once in a lifetime thing, and you took that away from me". Jason DID take that away from Melissa, and it's such a special moment that she will never get back. He just gave up on her, he's a coward.

What about Melissa? I would really love to hear her side of the story... We have only heard from the asshole, now I would like to hear from Melissa. Any "light-bulb" moments now ABC? By the way, I like Jillian, but I am NEVER GOING TO WATCH THIS SHOW AGAIN.

  6. DISGUSTED

Turned me off completely to ever watching the show again! I was a Die Hard Fan before now!

I find it upsetting that people can even defend Jason right now. It's not about the fact that he choose Molly, it's more about how he did it. He told Molly in the first after the rose show that after he let her go, he wasn't sure that he did the right thing. If that was the case, then he shouldn't have proposed to Melissa. He was so upset that Deanna let him get down one one knee, but he can't understand why it would hurt Melissa to get the proposal and then have it taken back especially after she told him she only wanted to get proposed to once. That's being a hypocrite and in my book that's worse than the lying. Anyway, for Ty's sake, I hope things work out for them and I wish nothing but great things for Melissa.

Like I said, "If it sounds like BULLSHIT" IT MUST BE BULLSHIT!

I live in Seattle and often go to the Eastside where Jason lives (in Kirkland or Redmond, to be exaact) so you never know if I see them - fat chance, but it could happen. At that time, I'm sure I would say something to them - LOL! Not sure what yet. I'm sure he is getting tired of the same insults but who cares about his feeings? He didn't give a damn about Melissa's feelings. Yes, I agree: "It's not WHO you choose, it's how you do it".

You know, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but god people how judgemental can you be? Try to put yourself in Jason's place. Its so easy to sit back and judge, but unless you know the whole story, leave them alone. No one forces you to watch any show. Grow up and get over it.

Everyone stop hateing jason he is happy and content and i wish molly and him the best he is a lucky man and don't forget he was dumped deanna so he knew what it felt like.

I just read that JASON AND MOLLY ARE CURRENTLY NOT A COUPLE. SHE IS DATING SOMEONE ELSE AND HE IS DATING GIRLS FROM THE SHOW. SOMEONE WHO WORKS WITH MOLLY DID THE POSTING. I believe that the entire show was pre-planned and only Melissa didn't know about it.

  13. Mary

Let's not forget, this show is as real as Cinderella. There are no happy endings, only people who are willing to sell out their soul for 15 mins of fame. I think Jason, Molly, Melissa and all the rest get what they deserve. Really, who can make a life decision about who to spend the rest of their lives after maybe 2 dates? I think I'll start watching wrestling, it might even be more realistic than this show.

Wake up America, Melissa and Molly were in on this. The writers, and producers worked very hard to bring up the ratings. This is true for season finale episode. The producers want to end it with a bang and know that if something goes wrong, they will have people talking. Remember, if something bad that happens on Tv, you get the viewers reaction. What happened to good ol family tv

I wish Jason and Molly all the best also and I read what some of you people wrote and have to wonder if your kids or someone else's kids are reading what you wrote here? Not a good move on your part. It is his life and what he does with it is his business. Get a life people, it is a tv show. Here is a question to ask yourself, "what did you do to guys or gals when you were in school/out of school when you broke up? Did you end things in school quietly or did you walk around at school/work/or in the public and call them a-holes? I bet almost all of you did just what he did but not on national tv. Until you can look yourself in the mirror and say you didn't do that, then you can say those things. But I really doubt any of you out there broke up with someone in a dignified way.

  16. Babs

Where would we be in this world if there was no forgiveness? I wish Jason and Molly the best and think that Ty will be fine regardless of this upheaval in his father's life.

How hard it must be to meet 25 women and be expected to pick out the "one" for you in eight weeks. How hard it must be to expect to know the "real" personalities of each woman when you are seeing only the best of each one in a limited time frame, not "real" life. Then only to find out the person's true colors after the camera's stop rolling.

Lets remember that what we see is edited to death and that ABC was manipulating all the parties involved for the ratings. Do I believe Jason intentionally hurt both of the women who he fell for? NO WAY. Do I wish the best for Jason and Molly? YOU BET!

I've already spent too much time lamenting over this scenario, and for watching the entire season for this type of ending. Other Bachelors selections haven't worked out, but they didn't give him a 'special' to humiliate her and a second chance for the runner-up!

I think after the humiliation that Melissa has gone through that SHE should have been offered the next Bachelorette show. Hands down. I hope she gets a BIG FAT check for the humiliation she has put up with.

I can't believe that Melissa's seat on that stage was even cold by the time Holly sat down. And what's up with Holly?? For someone that said 'she had a lot of questions' she seemed willing to play tonsil tag with no questions answered! What...are you that desperate?

Yes, Jason looked like an asshole, but it only made Molly look desperate. No self-confident woman I know would react like she did. The whole thing looked so staged. It was not 'entertainment'. And Holly...the adage goes, 'You lose your man just

Jason seems as if he has some kind of mental promblems. I beleive he wouldn't have taken a rejection very well, Molly almost caught it but was a little slow. what will happen he will feel so bad about how he treated melissa, can't get that off his mind and the rest is history. Fast Grand Rapids Molly would be gone.

  19. Guest933

Everyone seems to be forgetting that this entire ending was scripted. Jason told the producers when there were six finalists left that his choice was Molly, and the producers concocted this crazy ending which, it appears, both Melissa and Molly were in on. Seems like Melissa was paid to continue on till the end because it would "make for good TV and high ratings," which it did. If Molly, Melissa and Jason all knew how this would end way before it did, why should we feel sorry for any of them? Contractually they were forced into ending the show this way. So they all got their 15 minutes of fame. The main question is ... knowing all this ... will The Bachelorette - the show - get its 15 minutes of fame, or are we all so disgusted with this farce of a show that no one will watch any more?

  20. Drache

Sarah... I suspect you are really Molly - I would tend to agree with virtually all others that the world does NOT in fact revolve around Jason. He is a fairly poor excuse for a man of any level of honor. If one is torn on their decision, the least doubt, then he should of been "smarter" by simply "choosing" Melissa but to pursue a furthering of their initial relationship. Even then, he should of then discussed it fully with her to either cut things off then (off-camera) or "fight" to build the relationship.
Instead... what does Jason ("the MAN") do? He hides his doubts (probably because he was hitting on Molly at the same time he was on/off with Melissa. Hiding his feelings isn't THAT uncommon amongst relationships. BUT is that ALL he does, NO... not Jason, he waits for National TV to drop the bombshell so he can get lots of "Camera Action" and "whines" about "oh no choice, oh.. had to follow my heart... oh oh oh sorry sorry sorry" ... yeah Jason sorry is right - just think you

Anybody taking up for Jason and Molly are relatives trying to smoothe this over.. Nothing changed for me tonight. They both deserve each other..Low-lifes

  22. Lexi Ratto

Jason is an ass and Molly is a blonde bimbo!!!! Molly needs to open those already too big eyes and get a clue. Jason was probably dumped by the first wife, and when Molly finally wakes up, she will dump him too. How can Jason possibly explain this to his son. I love Melissa, oh now I love Molly -just shows how parents can screw up their kids. He has no business having a kid!!!!!

remember folks that he's the one looking for a partner here so, all that we can do is leave him alone as to who he chooses. he will be the one who will spend his life with whoever he picks so, don't over react.
....on those 6 weeks that he spent time with melissa he found out that there was no chemistry so, instead of leading her on... he called it quits. we should respect his decision. if you all are having a fit, you go register with abc and be the next bachelor so you can see for yourself that it's not that easy...

Jason your true colors showed tonight,Its not about who you picked, its about how you did it! And I'm sorry you are not a good role model for your son.He needs to know how to treat others and all I see and hear from you is all about you! Selfish thats what you are! You really think that its all about YOU. Remember when you were so upset when you were down on your knees and got rejected all you kept saying is WHY!Just think what you did is way worse and to set there the same night acting the way you did right after you broke it off with Melissa showed that you had no class at all. You will never be happy because you are not happy with yourself. One thing that you were right about you cant help the way that you feel about someone....But you can help the way you treat someone. You owe her a Huge apology.Thats the least thing you can do.
