I would rather do stand-up with Michael Richards in Compton, than to accept a proposal from Jason Mesnick. LOSER!!!

  2. holly

I HATE JASON MESNICK!! I would rather accept a rose from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, at least he is a man of his word and NOT fickl, he would never dump one of his many wives on national TV and then make out with another one of his wives 5 minutes later. Ahmadinejad is a better father and at least he can afford his own engagement ring. AND I have never seen Ahmadinejad cry like a little baby B*tch, like Jason Mesnick

Jason is a narcicist and a con-artist. We fell for him but got to see his true colors. If he thought he loved 2 women, he should never have proposed to either one. Most of the people I know don't watch the show but now those who did, won't watch again. It has been a farce. Molly and he will never work out. Molly, dump him. I have two grown sons who, I thank God, are not as pathetic as Jason is.

Molly DID seem more Jason's style to me, and I was surprised he took Melissa. I was praying that Molly would tell him to pound sand in his ass, once he broke up with Melissa. I also find it heartless, that be blasted Melissa without SOME KIND of warning. This would have given Melissa time to pretend she wasn't bothered by it. Instead he tried to make a fool of her, but I think Melissa came out looking like the winner, frankly. Quite the twist, I must say, but Jason was using that fake "Tom Cruise" smile during the whole season, which struck me as phony, and he was kissing them WAY too much. I think he was just trying to take advantage of these women, until he had to get it down to one. Then, just like a little kid in a toy store, as soon as he buys something, he decides he would really like something else.

The way it went down may have been scripted.... they may have known in advance what was going to go down.... but I believe it's real.... I don't think Melissa is that good of an actress.... she was seriously pissed.... and if Molly is moving to Seattle, this ain't no joke.... doubt it will work out though....

  6. Carolyn

I was amazed when he choose Melissa in stead of Molly and hope that he will find happiness with Molly. But I very much doubt that he will as he is not mature enough to handle a relationship. Unfortunately, his son will pay the price. He and his family whined about his problems with his first marriage but just as it takes two to make a marriage, it also takes two to get a divorce and Jason was just as much to blame for his first divorce as his ex-wife. Jason needs to grow up.

It is hard to know the whole story due to editing anyways.
I don't understand how anyone can really expect to find love this way. Its hard enough as it is to get to know one person in private yet alone surrounded by cameras tapping the whole thing.
Anyone agreeing to go through this is glutten for punishment.
Only the first Bachelorette seemed to pull it off.

  8. David Palmeri

It took integrity and balls to do what Jason did. Way to follow your heart.

What you all have MISSED is that Melissa and Jason were talking to each other about their relationship not working out weeks before this last show. Melissa knew that they were going to break up on tv. Due to their contracts with the show, they had to break up on air because that is how the producers of the show wanted it. They are the bad ones, it was not Jason's choice to break up on tv. Be mad at the Bachelor show producers.

Jason is not an asshole. He found out the fakey way of meeting someone, in front of the camera, is not real life. Real life proved to be different. It was obvious that Melissa knew his feelings had changed. She wasn't suprised with the break up, and who could blame ABC for cashing in on the voyeuristic nature of the fans of this show and letting them do it, in front of their fans. Jason and Molly I wish you the best, and don't let the crazy comments get you down!!

  11. Maggie

Didn't you guys heard what Jullian said, we all had to do it once in our life "break heart or being broke". But that is life, I see it is just a normal thing. When my ex left me for another woman, I was all heart broken. But I think it's rather be that way then the two loveless people living together and torture each other. Jason did it a litte late, but it's better than never. Melisa would be worse if he said that after the marriage. The only thing is that it happens in national TV. But hey, when you join the show, things like this is expected, rigth?

  12. Suzie

Come on none of you have made a mistake in choosing the wrong person in love? What, you’d just stay and made the best of it....Give me a break you’re all caught up in the fairy tale not real life. As for Molly she fell for him what makes her so bad because you didn’t get the ending you wanted. I bet if Chris Harrison hosted a show on all of you that are saying all the ugly mean things about Jason and Molly your own love lives are big train wrecks. Melissa knew going in she was gambling on love you make your comments about Jason going on a show to find love but, you say nothing about 25 women who go on a show after one man. Are you people for real what man or woman wouldn’t want to be able to try to find love and have 25 men or woman to choose from that were hand picked for him or her to try and find that one great love are you people listening to or reading what you are writing? It took a big man to stand up and say he made a mistake not only for himself but for his son T

You have to think of this show (and others like it) like computer dating or something. Everyone wants them to be truly "in love" and get married. I think people expect realism and the show is crazy. You "date" a girl for a few weeks, while you are simultaneously "dating" 15 other girls,
all the while cameras follow you around and you are constantly pressured to go on these outrageous outings. I'm sure that living that lifestyle and living and dating in normal life are two different things. If it wasn't
there for him, it wasn't there. Now, I don't know if I would have taken him back knowing that I was #2 choice, but whatever.

  14. Lise

From what I've heard, Melissa did get a " heads up " about Monday's show.... and I'm really glad that Jason finally picked Molly. I never liked Melissa because she always looked like she was putting on an act. So many guestions not answered with her.... like " why haven't her best friends ever met her parents ????? ..... Just that question alone would make me wonder about her.
I hope Jason and Molly will be very happy together because they seem to be very honest and genuine.
And I'm very glad that Jullian will be the next Bachelorette

  15. ashley

IM GLAD HES WITH MOLLY I'VE LIKED HER BETTER THE WHOLE TIME!!! ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT ARE MAD AT HIM NEED TO GET OVER IT HES HAPPY WITH HER AND NOT MELISSA

  16. katie76

All those who think Jason and Molly are innocent are the kind of people who let TV manipulate them. They obviously are not thinking for themselves just like Jason who was so easily manipulated by whore Molly, they are letting the show manipulate them.

If Jason did make mistake, there are lots of different ways he could have gone about this...eg. not break up with Melissa on TV, could have waited to kiss Molly after the show instead of kissing straight after breaking up with Melissa, and finally the very reason he broke up with Jillian for "not wanting a best friend as a life partner"...the idiot said the very same reason for choosing Molly over Melissa...that "Molly is my best friend".

And I mean Molly is no angel here either...I can not believe she just took him back like that without even questioning him or saying anything...yeah she said last night I grilled him....yeah right !!! Its like Brad pitt and Angelina jolie saying, "nothing ever happened on sets of Mr. and Mrs. Sm

  17. Nancy

Okay did any one else get the impression that it's all about Melissa's career (she made that more than apparent throughout the show). Yes she's moving, but if she's so into her work will she be there as a step mom and wife as much as Jason would like to see her be in their lives? Personally I don't think she's that bright of a person to take him back. She hasn't woke up yet to realize she's his SECOND choice. If he really wanted her FIRST he would have not proposed to Melissa. I'd be interested in knowing what happened with his first marriage. Was it a mutual decision to part ways. At first I thought he was a widow, but then realized there was a divorce involved. Does he have full custody of Ty?

  18. Jennifer Latham

Seriously, I think everyone should leave Jason alone. He needs to make the right decision for himself AND his son. Thats the most important. And better now than in a year when little Ty is emotionally attached to the wrong women. I respect Jason and feel bad that he had to make such a decision that hurt some people. I know he never intended it to turn out like that. But Adults get through the loss of someone better than a sweet little boy would.

  19. Jacqueline

Jason is an ASSHOLE, JERK, COWARD, he took advantage of Melissa. He should have broke the engagement off with her in private. What he did was totally uncalled for. Melissa is so much better off without him. I think that he is incapable of love. Molly will always be second best she was never first choice and that got to hurt her somewhat.

So far, those who claim the show was scripted don't disclose their source(s) of information. Has anybody in the know at ABC actually been on record to confirm this? Assuming it was not scripted and, so, taking events at face value, why didn't Chris get to the bottom of the breakup? Jason commented (paraphrasing) "it wasn't right" and "the chemistry had changed." Why not, and how?

Chris says, "America wants to know," but does next to nothing to find out. If this is a reality show, let's hear the reality.

  21. kathy

If you want scripted entertainment watch a soap opera much better acting.

  22. Kristine

I love the fact that Jason and Molly are together. I was routing for Molly all the time and was devastated when Jason first chose Melissa. Although I thought both girls were great I could see all through the season that Molly was a better fit for Jason. They had a lot in common plus love and converstation. Molly was interested in what she could do for Jason and Melissa was only interested in what Jason could do for her.

  23. katie

who makes the green dress that Molly wore on the After the Rose Part 2?

  24. Brighteyes78

Blah Blah Blah, Jason is a huge jerk!
Melissa should have kicked him in the balls while she had the chance. & Molly is an even bigger idiot for taking him back.

  25. rose

I personally think that for a thirty something guy, Jason is about teenage hormonally. My sons in their twenties were talking about him the other day in passing, and their comment after reading about him was ASSHOLE. They believe he was using his kid to get a girl...now that is guy talk and pretty rough for guys to even comment.

Molly does not seem like stepmom material. Does she realize how hard it will be to discipline Ty or even fit into their lives?? Ty will be jealous that is certain. Good luck with your parenting skills.

I agree that the network cashed in on Jason's decision. He could have broken up with Melissa in private and went after Molly in private too. I'm sure his parents are so proud of their poor hurt son. Well he wasn't too hurt to do it to Melissa. What goes around comes around.
