Hold on people! I think everyone's being a little harsh on Jason. I think he's a little skittish from being divorced already once and hey if he felt for any reason...what so ever... he made a mistake (like we all do), I commend him for righting the wrong and taking his chance Molly.

For those apologizing for Jason "I can't decide" Mesnik, he didn't HAVE to choose anyone. If he had any humanity, he would have not proposed to either woman. If I were his boss, I'd review keeping him on. One day Ty will grow up and see what a douche his dad was. Unfortunately many "bachelor(ette)" contestants get starry eyed by the siren call of Hollywood. A bit of publicity and fame goes to their heads. Just look at Deanna's wooden cameo performance. Regardless of what they say, many "reality show" contestants are just in it to try and get a leg up into "show business." Notoriety and publicity spoils so many things and it appears Jason was listening to his publicist more than his alleged "heart." Once again, wait till his son grows up and realizes his dad is a douche bag.

I have a lot of respect for Melissa. She was very strong when he broke up with her but let him know how much of a jerk he was at the same time. I felt so bad though when she was crying saying that something must be wrong with her because she keeps getting dumped. If I had a chance to talk to her I'd say "Melissa there is nothing wrong with you. You just haven't found the right guy to appreciate you for the sweetheart you are. Just keep your chin up, stay confident, be true to yourself and he'll come along some day." As for Jason, how sick does one have to be to make out with another girl merely minutes after dumping one. And my opinion of Molly, which was always that she was a trashy fake skank, became even more bitter when she made accepted that asshole's offer and made out with him right on the spot. She has no passion for anyone else's feelings, either. Melissa, I hope you find yourself a real man who you deserve and who deserves you.

All the negative posts about Jason is without thinking. It sounds so selfish and to stand up for Melissa is foolish without knowing what may have happened and you may never know because Jason will not trash her. She did every thing for a show for she is a show girl for the cowboys. All her pseudo actions tricked him and he was looking too much of that side of her. Remember he is looking for someone to stay with forever and to be kind to Tye. He was trying too hard not hurt feelings but he has his son to think about also and Tye may have said something to his dad about which one he could have around him. Something may have gone wrong while on holidays that he could see they could not be a family. Molly never pushed herself toward Tye. She was careful about that.

I think what Jason did to Melissa was a very mean thing to do she is so sweet and good and now that the true Jason comes out what a jerk he really is does not deserve Melissa at all. I do not have good feelings about Molly I do not feel she is the type of woman that you can trust but then as we have all seen Jason isn't either. Jason really disappointed me I thought he was a super special type of guy gosh I was wrong. I wish Melissa the best of luck in life and I think she is a great girl. Melissa I know you will one day find a man that truly deserves you and not a jerk like Jason. Now that is hard for you to see but you will meet your prince charming. Shame on ABC and Jason for putting Melissa through that on national TV. Jason is a complete ass and he and Molly(Miss Preppy) had something going on during those 6 weeks. She is really stupid. They deserve each other - really Jason and DeAnna deserve each other-both are losers. What a role model for your son, Jason. I think what it came down to was the sex. I think the ratings just dropped - I will never tune in again. Absolutely disgusting.

Wow you people are harsh, he signed a contract so he had to follow it or they would sue him! He HAD to do it on t.v. I think he did what he felt was right and if that's selfish then I don't know. Also if anyone cares to realize Jason never met melissa's parents so I think there is more to the story then was being said. I am sure they didn't tell us everything, Jason just said they were not a good fit so we don't know the specifics. I just think that for people who don't possibly have all the facts and don't have to make such a big decision it's easy to judge and be so harsh. Take a chill pill! On the hand, why did the show have to be 3 hours long! That is just bonkers! DeAnna was fake and I think that was so set up, she didn't really want to be back with Jason. She is for sure a tv hound! I like her though. Anyways give Jason the benefit of the doubt and molly wasn't my fav at all but I think they will do good.

I am soooo disappointed, as I came to understand ABC allowed this PATHETIC jerk to have BOTH of the runners up!!!! He took the first one out for a test drive, and ended up with the 2nd runner up! How disgusting for a woman to allow herself to be the SECOND choice and feel 'Happy' about it. Does she get the second hand ring too...? ABC you lost me with this one Yuk!!!!

Molly so obviously knew she had that second chance (and was banging Jason the whole time. Melissa didn't have the ring on when she came out and also knew he was going to dump her). They were contractually obligated to do the show and probably got paid highly for that acting job (even though I believe he did think Melissa was the one...because she's hotter and then he realizes hotness doesn't make someone stable). Also, maybe when he finally met Melissa's family, they turned out to be a bunch of freaks. Who knows...maybe Jason was being classy for not giving us the real reason for dumping Melissa. Maybe she was fake on air (which was her vibe to me) and he found out the real Melissa too late. I think anyone that goes on that show has to know that humiliation is part of the game. Don't act all like "you're so hurt", etc. YOu are one of 25 women....the odds are slim you'll get picked and even if you are...the odds are slimmer you'll stay together. Get over it. I am so mad at what he did to Melissa! I am so proud of the way she handled the situation, if it were me I wouldn't be able to hide my emotions and I would have just been crying my eyes out. Jason is a huge bastard she is right about that. And Molly has the nerve to take him back after he dumped her for another girl. Melissa brought the pride towards women by stating that he can't fight for his women and Molly lost the pride for women when she jumped in Jasons arms like a desperate woman. Its sad to see. Melissa I cheered for you the whole way through and I will continue to cheer for you now. Keep your head up! There is someone better waiting for you in this world! I feel for Melissa, as a couple they looked so in love. It does make Jason seem fickle. I think he should have asked for more time to make a decision if he was truly so torn, Chris, you need to think of that if you do a show again. I think its going to be tough for Molly to trust but I do hope they find happiness. I will watch future shows even tho' for all I truly feet bad, esp. for Melissa's dreams of a perfect wedding proposal. In real life many women gets those, later get divorced so hang in there Melissa. You can't help Molly if she truly thinks he is the one to try. Jason needs to really get his head together, counseling would help.
