Mollys a bad actor... So fake. This show is so staged.
Mooly slept with him the night before the decision just to seal the deal. Guess that is what Jason was thinking about the whole time with Melissa.

I WILL NEVER, EVER WATCH THIS PROGRAM AGAIN. I HOPE MOLLY SCREWS JASON OVER BECAUSE HE DESERVES IT. HE LOOKS LIKE A MONKEY AND SO DOES HIS KID. MELISSA WILL FIND A MUCH BETTER MAN THAN JASON. MAYBE THEY WILL HAVE AN "AMAAAZING" LIFE TOGETHER. I HOPE ABC TAKES IT OFF BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE I KNOW WILL WATCH IT EITHER.

I agree with so many others. I have been a loyal watcher of this show but after tonight I am done. I was so disapointed with Jason's decision. What a jerk to do that to Melissa on TV. Jason doesn't know what he wants and that has got to be hard for his son. I am surprised he didn't go back to Deanna.

I hope they have Jason's first wife on tomorrow night's part 2 "After the Final Rose". I can see why his first wife dumped this flake. And all this bs about having to follow his heart...what a bunch of BS!

Ladies... ladies. Please. I was "falling in love" with two girls. I thought I had chosen the right one. Anyways, straight to the point-- Mel just wasn't that great in bed. That's it. Everything boils down to sex or politely said... "passion". The "passion" just wasn't what I thought it would be. How much more of a jerk would I have been if I had really said what the real reasons were for my breakup with Melissa. I'm a guy... a caveman... monogomy is soooo overrated. Now I'm looking forward to seeing how much "passion" Molly will give. :)

He is an ASSSSSSSS.. He seemed like a classy good guy.. well he doesn't know what it is to be in a commitment you work on things! Melissa was way to good for him! I hope Ty will not be an ass like his dad! Molly is a dumb box for taking him back and being with a man that would do something like this! I can't wait until she moves out of WI!

JASON is ridiculously selfish!! And you are right-whoever said it-this is entertainment...it is to entertain and you are right it did. But it is also REAL people, real feeling!!! Both Melissa and MOlly really loved Jason, and he played with both of them!! And tugged them along on his ups and downs...he is a human too-and humans aren't perfect. That's fine-if he really picked Melissa and they both found later on that they were not right for each other-then fine, break up, but it doesn't need to be put on national TELEVISION! HOw rude and immature. I honestly dont think that it was staged the whole time-i think that Jason and Molly have talked to each other since the show stopped but i dont think poor Melissa was in on this. That is the difference here. There IS a difference between reality tv and ALL MY CHILDREN. Stuff like tis happens on soap operas and its entertainment, and you can go on with life after watching it.
BUT, stuff like this-like what was done to Melissa, should not happen on reality tv becuase it should not happen in life. That was just cruel and disgusting to watch. It made me sick. I really hope that Melissa finds true love and a man that can give her everything she deserves.

I can't believe ABC put this on the air. "The Bachelor" has never looked more staged or despicable. I'm sure ABC will survive but as far as I'm concerned this show (and Jason) can rot. What a classless, tacky display. I just can't understand why Jason would agree to having this break up taped for national tv. What kind of a jackass does that to his "fiance" who he "loves"? He can change his mind if he wants but no need to show the entire world what a bastard you were while you did it.

Jason has feelings too! This season will not keep me from watching The Bachelor, or the Bachelorette. Have any of you never broken up with someone? Sure, it was not a good judgement call to break up with Melissa on national television, or ask Molly on a date in the same day, but Jason is not a jerk. He just didn't feel it with Melissa. I believe Molly was truly shocked when she heard the news tonight on After the Final Rose. She didn't seem like she was acting at all! But.. I still want Jason to be with Deana. :)

Like most of the people commenting, I too am very disappointed. I don't think that Jason should have humiliated Melissa on camera like that. That was pretty low down. I was proud of Jason when he didn't take DeAnna back and thought...o k...he's going to be strong and do the right thing....then WHAM, right out of left field he goes and does the stupidest thing he possibly could have done! Bad....very very Bad!

Absolutely amazing... When Jason sent Molly home, she was so quick to tell him he was making a mistake and that Melissa wasn't the right person for him. When Jason breaks up with Melissa and tells her he wants to pursue Molly, she doesn't say anything negative about Molly. Melissa attacks Jason, as it should be, calling him a bastard - way to go, Melissa! You are so awesome for calling Jason out and not saying negative things about Molly like she did you. I watched this whole season after not watching for a while, and I was so happy when Jason proposed to Melissa. All along I saw something between Melissa and Jason. I never really felt Molly was the right fit. At the end of the proposal tonight, I said to my friend, "This was my favorite season yet!" Then we watch After the Final Rose... how horrible. I am so disapointed and heart broken for Melissa. Jason went from being one of the most loved bachelors ever to the complete opposite. Things will not work with Molly because the proposal to Melissa will always be between them. I am sorry, Melissa, for your heart break. And I am sorry for Molly because her heart break isn't over yet, I think Jason will break Molly's heart again. I read in someone else's blog that Jason is in love with the idea of being in love, and I agree with this.

I used to love the show (still do if Melissa happens to be the next bachelorette). I had a feeling he was gonna make the wrong choice, and I really didn't expect things to go the way they did. I guess I was in denial, but he obviously needs someone more stable like Molly to counter his personality. Melissa was the hottest sweetest girl who did not deserve any of this. I completely agree with her "bastard" comment and I totally dislike Jason now. Anyone know how we can let ABC know that they need to fire whomever okay-ed the staging of the show. They're going to lose viewers, not gain any...

I just saw Jason on the Jimmy Kimmel Show and his explanation about what happened between him and Melissa was sincere.
Poor guy found out too late that she wasn't right for him.
I could have told him that!
Lets hope he and Molly can be happy after all of this!

That's because we get to know these people through the eyes of the editing crew. The story goes the way they want. We love them, if they want. We hate them, if they edit it to look and seem that hating/loving them should be the way it is. Relationships are hard. I don't know many people that "fall in love" and find they have "chemistry" with the backdrops for the dates that these few priviledged people have. Who has rose petals on the way to the hot tub waiting for them? Who has helicopter rides on the way to the concert? When this elaborate backdrop goes away, so does the "chemistry." It's hard to find love and even harder for it to last. I wish Molly and Jason the best. I hope they truly have found something lasting, but if not, I'm sure the journey was memorable!

After watching all the Bachelors and Bachelorette season after season NEVER AGAIN!
Felt it was staged and fake and Melissa was used for ratings. Shame on you ABC this network has reached a new low.

Jason,after my ex husband left me for another woman he came back 2 years later and told me that, "He made the biggest mistake of his life...", I told him, "Too little too late!" That is what Molly should have said to you. I use to enjoy watching this show. I will never watch this show again. Shame on you Jason! and shame on you Bachelor show for doing this to Melissa on national TV. Men like Jason are never satisfied and they are the ones that cheat on their wives. This man definately has a character flaw. Jason when you hurt someone the way you hurt Melissa, Karma will come back and take care of you. Melissa you are an incredible woman you deserve a better man than Jason. He is a loser and needs a lot of therapy. Hold your head high Melissa, you did nothing wrong. Jason should be ashamed of himself and hold his head down in public. Jason what is horrible example you are for your son. The only thing missing from the show tonight was Melissa slapping your smug face before leaving the stage.

pandamanda - get a life. Are you serious? If you think reality TV is real life - then I have no clue where you live. Get a life - a real life! The Bachelor is about as High shoolish as it gets. You can not have real feelings for somebody in a fake world. Doesn't happen and won't happen. But it is entertaining. The only thing I did not love about it - is the sad fact that so many people thought this was real.

NO, it really doesnt. A person doesnt ever go on dates with 25 woman and end up with one in real life either. So i guess the mix of a show and real life, real feelings-isnt a good one cuz this can end up happening. Im never watching again. I know that much

Too many people on here think they "know" what is going on, they don't these are all real people trying to make really tough decision in front of a camera and crew no less, I know that would be incredibly hard, as I said earlier ABC has just edited in the Drama and did quite a good job too!

I agree with Brandy, I felt the same way watching the show. Jason is a bastard, I'd like to punch him in the balls for what he did to Melissa. And shes right, Melissa is such a kind hearted person she never said anything bad about Molly, but Molly bad mouthed a lot of people through-out the show. How stupid, and Molly is a skank. She is sloppy seconds to Melissa now, and thats how it should be. Jason is being just as dumb as Deanna was, and you watch he'll get bored with Molly and wish he still had Melissa. What an idiot! And how stupid of ABC to air something like this! Their relationship should have been broken up privately, not on air. I am so disappointed with all of it. What a waste watching this season. Great example you are setting for ty, teaching him to be a dick. I wish Melissa all the best of luck in love and in life, she deserves better than all this garbage.
