I thought the whole night felt staged. When Melissa came out she knew something was up ... you could tell by her peck of a kiss she gave Jason. This show was a waste of my time this season. :(

I can not believe Jason did this!! To either of them!! Melissa is an amazing girl, she is so fun and positive and I truly thought he brought out the best in Jason...but apparently just because she wanted to take it slower that made Jason think differently...yeah, he's a jerk and MELISSA, you deserve wayyyyyyyyyy better!!! And Molly deserves better too!! I dont care if you guys say-what others say or think doesnt matter-he disrespected you-he told you he loved Melissa! Plus, how could you actually feel ok with getting back with him anyway-after what he did to Melissa?? I could NEVER be with someone that treated another person like that and hurted them so bad!!! That is just not ok!! I would never want the love of my life to act like that!!

i've never in my life met a man who cries as much as Jason.Real men don't air there love on television for the world to see. This show is a fake just like the "house" Jason lived in Seattle. The show thought it would look good for atmosphere like in "sleepless in Seattle". Jason could never hold a candle to Tom Hanks in the movie.Thats all this show has been a fake script.Poor Ty, his mother should put her foot down to anymore of daddies new girlfriends.

I think Molly is a much better person than Melissa.
Molly is kind, and forgiving and will be a very good mom!
Thankfully , Jason came to his senses and used his brain!
He was thinking with a different appendage with Melissa.
I hope the show tomorrow will be good and that Molly and Jason and his son are all happy together!

Are you all really this dumb? Seriously? The FRC was staged, right down to Jason "dumping" Melissa on T.V. And, yes, they all got paid.

Jason Mesnick? How about Jason Mes-Dick, uber-scumbag? And Molly, who I thought he should have chosen in the first place, dropped bigtime as a shallow gold-digger. Btw, how much are these people getting paid for this white-trash soap opera??

I think ABC knew something was up and should have stepped in to fix the problem BEFORE going on the air. I know these people are a little off for just going on the show to begin with, but no one deserves what Mellisa went through tonight!

Looks like Reality steve was right. My heart goes out to Melissa. I can't figure out why it was necessary to break up with her on national t.v. It is all for ratings but as far as I am concerned I am done with the Bachelor. Jason you are a terrible person if this is something you went along with from the beginning.

Molly needs to run like hell. I cannot believe she is stupid enough to let Jason back into her life. Melissa deserved better than this.

You said it right "Bastard!" I don't know what the hell people saw in him anyway.... Who the hell would be attraced to a young George Bush look-alike!... at least with that hair! The minute the lights were out and he was faced with the reality relationships aren't perfect and that excitement WILL NOT be there 100% of the time, he bailed! He will find out soon enough with Molly.......... and as for her (molly)... spineless!!!!!!!! - Melissa deserves much better.

What can you honestly expect when you go on a 'reality show'? Did these people not agree to date someone on live television? with bizarre circumstance knowing that they could be heart broken in the end? I mean i agree that Jason shouldn't have broken up with Melissa like that on live tv, but at the same time, don't you think as viewers we would be disapointed if he hadn't? it is the point of the show, no?- to show the trials and tribulations of love. It needs to be understood that Jason made a difficult decision, and when its rushed, and placed in an ideal setting and set up to be a "fairy tale" these people are simply being set up to have their hearts broken. I really think these producers should change the process a bit. And allow the bachelor to date the final two for 6 weeks or whatever without the cameras, on a day to day normal basis, and then see who he picks. I think what Jason did was impossibly difficult. But i definitely respect him for following his heart. I hope it works

Sorry, fantabulo, you're wrong. That was gross, whether scripted or motivated by real feelings, that was gross. And don't underestimate people's indignation or their decision that they've had enough. That was some serious and badly put-together manipulation. I'm cleaning out with a steady diet of NPR and public TV. And if there's a fund for the cost of Melissa's therapy or for the viewers' therapy, fantabulo should write the first and largest donation for having profited so from ABC's nonsense.

NO …. I can’t believe that happened. I’m a guy and am embarrassed to admit that I even watch the show but my wife talked me into watching the show the past couple of seasons I really like Jason until tonight. He seemed like a genuine guy. We absolutely fell in Love with Melissa after the 1st episode. She is beautiful, adorable, sweet, playful, caring basically everything a guy could hope to find and all she wanted was someone to give her love to. We were so excited when Jason picked her, Then THIS! What Jason did was a sell out move. ABC probably offered him more money to do it on national TV. Why couldn’t he just wait till after the show then break it off? Maybe he is just an attention whore. I feel so bad for Melissa. Hopefully she gets picked to be the next Bachelorette. That’s the only way I would watch it. Hell the only reason I even watched this whole season was because of Melissa. Great girl. Hope she’s not scared to bad.
Ugh! This was so incerdibly staged! Molly and Jason, you both need to hire a good acting coach. Melissa was the only believable one and that's because I have a feeling that she was the only one that didn't know what was going to happen. How disgusting ABC. This was a bad move and I hope your ratings plumet. Melissa, if they ask you to be the bachelorette, RUN! Poor thing, what a crock!

I will not watch any shows produced by any of the Bachelor producers and will not support any advertisers that run ads for these producers shows from now on! Everyone, e-mail ABC and the Bachelor producers protesting this disgusting and tasteless show. I'm sure they're are all laughing and saying "look at all the attention we're getting... we don't care if it is bad press, as long as people are talking about our show."

WOW!! I thought like lots of others that Jason was an okay guy. What a disappointment he is. How dare he do that to Melissa on TV!!. God willing his son doesn't grow up to be a arse like his Dad. Runnnnnnnnnnn Molly Runnnnnnnnn
All those people that are bitching on here will be giving ABC the best advertising money can buy "word of Mouth" everybody tommorrow will be chatting it up at work and even more people will want to watch Part 2
ABC = WIN!! and for FREE!! truly quite brilliant
Remember people EDITING!!! they only show you what they think you want to see for effect, obviously they got the editing right just listen to you chatter on about how this girl is a snotty bitch Jason is an Ahole blah blah blah
"better to be quiet and thought a fool that to open your lips and remove all doubt"
I just knew that abc would have to do something like this. If they thought their ratings were falling before, wait till the next bachelor/bachelorette comes on.
OK...did anyone else think it was funny that Deanna knew where Jason was when this is being taped in advance? That right there tells me that this thing was rigged.
Makes me wonder if Megan caught on from the get go & that's why no one liked her.
There will never be another seies like the one with Trista & Ryan. That was the best one.
Here I thought that Jason was a really nice guy. What kind of an affect do you think this will have on Ty?

Personally i think this show was a joke.
first time i ever watched it and probably the last,
how can you do the same thing to someone knowing how much it hurts when they have done it to you!!!
i also think molly was dumb for accepting him again..
what makes her think he wouldn't do the same thing to her.
(((GOOD LUCK MOLLY))) !!!!!
Ps. Sandra was a big fan of jason's untill tonight.!!!!

I watched every episode this season, but I am done with Chris Harrison and this show. Even if Jason experienced what he said he did, why would Jason agree to break up with Melissa on national tv? What kind of ABC manipulation and exploitation is this? How much does Jason get paid to have done that? If he had really felt sorry to Melissa and tried to hurt her as little as possible he would have broken up with her in a dignified and gentlemanly manner - in private. Instead, he chose to do it on national tv. What does that tell you about him and the show? The show does not deserve the high viewings it got this season. I feel duped and tricked. Youe loss ABC, because I won't be watching any more. Not even the second ATFR, not another season.
