quite desappointed in the show- After tonite the bachelor/bachelorette show will drop to zero ratings. It turns out that the show is fakier than the WWF wrestling. What a complete waist of time- To think that I waist my time&eager to watch every Mondays- We actually thought the show was real. I hope that Melissa realized that life has given her a chance to start her own life with her own kid with a better guy- because J mesnick is a player. Confused..

I have sporatically watched other bachelor seasons but this one I watched faithfully because it held the most interest because of Jason. I understand what all the posters have been saying but we shouldnt judge Jason so harshly. The nature of that show leaves the possibility of making a mistake. Example and point: Deanna picking Jesse over Jason. I knew she made a mistake but she didnt realize it until it was WAYYY too late..Better Jason found out sooner than later, of course it was harsh to do it on TV but that is why there was no audience.. Melissa is a seemingly beautiful person inside & out and I chose her from day 1 to be with Jay in the end but during the show I saw something between Molly and him but it developed slower -the guy had to make a decision and he needed MORE time to make it-BOTTOM LINE and whatever he did he was going to be called an ass by the public...Remember the other season where the guy chose neither? He was an ass to everyone too...I think Jay did what he h

I HATE YOU JASON.
i am done with this show and will never watch it again.
jason you are definitely a bastard and i hope you die.
what you did was terrible and Melissa was completely right about everything.
oh and i hope Molly dies too...she's the most hated person in america, next to jason.
i hope they both die on there way out.
stupid son of a bitch. i cant even explain my hatred for jason and molly right now.
i could go on for hours...and i hope jason and molly see this.

I just watched Jason on Jimmey Kimmel. He explained that ABC forced him to do the break-up with Melissa on the air. It was part of the contract...that he live out his relationship decisions in front of the cameras. So he isn't as big of a jerk as everyone says he is. He didn't want to end things like that anyway. I think he's doing the best he can. Everyone needs to calm down about it.

First of all, I think that Jason was very smart to realize the relationship with Melissa was not going to work. You will find that majority of the episodes that we have watched, it is after the show that the couple really get to know each other, off camera. I would think that Jason saw that Melissa was immature in many ways and stopped going forward. I agree that it was not the best way to "dump" anyone but you could tell when Melissa came on stage that it was "staged", it showed in her body language immediately. I thought Molly or Jillian were the best choices from the first month, but it is Jason's choice after all. I wish him and Molly, and Ty the very best.

Wow people! I can't believe how mean so many of you are. You don't know what has transpired in "real life" since they have wrapped filming in New Zeeland. Cut Jason some slack. At least he didn't marry Melissa when it wasn't right. He is trying to follow his heart to find his soulmate and Melissa just wasnt that girl. I have always liked Jason and Molly together for the whole season and quite frankly I am happy to see them dating and seeing if they will still have the same feelings in "real life." Who knows????? Isn't the whole point of the show to find LOVE. Give them a break people. Stop being so negative and cruel to Jason and Molly, you don't really know them.

I have family in Grand Rapids and have seen Molly and said she looks pregnant. I heard that too on another site too. I think she got pregnant when they were in the tent and she found out after and called him and thats why he couldnt get Molly off his mind. He is an ass but she is a fugly white trash b**ch and she had no right to say picking Melissa was a mistake. She only wishes she could be half the incredible woman Melissa is. Melissa will find a great guy and forget about these idiots.

I have to completely disagree with you..Without any of us--this show doesn't exist..liking Molly or Melissa isn't the question..it's the fact of doing what he did..regardless of knowing him "personally"..Once you decide to do a reality show--you give up that right to be judged or not...One of things that the Housewives of NYC say is that good-bad-or ugly what you see is exactly who they are and I agree with that statement--people love to say ohh the tv station spun what I said or did--no you did that and you said that--so don't take it back now--to try to make you "look" better...Of course tv isn't going to show all of your great moments..but the bad stuff they show--YOU DID them...Jason agreed to dump her on national TV (there is no agrument there right??)...I don't believe that she was told the whole story before going on the air...Everyone here that is "pro" Jason can spin that anyway they want but bottomline he broke someone's heart on national TV and fortunately for Melissa-he is

BIG MISTAKE ON ABC'S PART.

March 3rd, 2009 1:35 AM
I am in shock at this ending! I really thought Jason was a great guy but now I think he is a PIG and he and Molly deserve each other. No woman should ever be dumped on national TV and I am disgusted that ABC would hurt someone so publicly. I really liked Melissa. She seemed to be a genuinely nice person
I've been watching The Bachelor on my computer here in Seattle because DISH satellite TV didn't renew their contract with the ABC affiliate because ABC got greedy and wanted an 85% increase for DISH to carry their channel. DISH refused to pay it because it would cause our monthly fees to go up and I'm glad those bastards at ABC are no longer on my TV set.
So long to a TV show I had really enjoyed watching. I will never watch The Bachelor or Bachelorette again!

Jason never should have dumped Molly in the first place and he realized it before she left. I'm sure this was eating him the whole time. He seems like a real coward and you deserve a real man Molly!!!

This was the worst show in the Bachelor history. I cannot believe that he actually dumped Melissa on national tv, he is definitely a loser and I will not watch this show anymore. Jason has mental problems, and I am glad that Melissa doesn't have to be with him. Molly is a fake and they deserve each other.

That show was BOMB, and by bomb I mean really good and fun times. Molly is hot. Melissa is still the 'dumpee' Sorry girls but its true and the Bachelor just got a viewer 4 LIFE with that one. Rock on.
It was probably in their contract with the show to do the follow up show, so either way, Melissa probably didn't have much of a choice. I refused to watch this season at the beginning when I heard that Jason would be the bachelor. He has a son that he should be giving his attention to. It is his fault that Ty does not have a mother and he should make up for that by giving all of his attention to Ty. There was no need for him to go out and find another person to be his new mom. Jason was selfish from the start and the after show tonight just proved that even more.

Ok seriously. i have been reading some of the messages boards and I can not believe what some people are saying. Maybe I am biased but I liked Molly from the beginning. I think Melissa is sweet and that being dumped on national tv was awful but I also think it took a lot of guts on Jasons part to say he made a mistake. I think people need to not personally attack these people. We see a silver of the story and really have no clue what is really going on. I wish Molly and Jason the best. And hope Melissa has a great future.

OK...it made for great entertainment...you know Melissa got paid to call him a bastid and you know he was dating Molly all along. This was not great acting but it was great programming. You got to believe that this was staged. Eh, it will make for interesting shows to come. They started out with a good show and the couple got married for real. Then it just got stupid. I would say if there were anything better on TV then maybe it would beat out this show. I saw bring on more shows like "Burn Notice" ( maybe not on that station ).
Molly and Jason...do yourselves a favor. If you are really in love...forget the money, the limelight and go to Wash., play with the kids and have a nice life.

Just watched Jimmy Kimmel's show and the excuse that Jason gave for the way things "had" to happen. I do believe ABC wanted this break up aired for the ratings but I do NOT believe that Melissa understood what was in store for her. Why would she choose to go on TV to be humiliated tonight and then refuse to participate in tomorrow nights show? She had no idea that things were happening the way they were tonight even if she did know that Jason had changed his mind! This is such a contradiction...please! BAD decision on ABC's part to "play" it this way...lose of MANY viewers. ABC..would you like to rethink this decision and play it all again? Hummmmmmm
