Oh and the people who are saying they won't watch anymore are the same people who say they don't watch or vote for American Idol. Spare us your rants. You know you cannot wait to see who is named the next Bachelor or Bachelorette. The early favorite apparently is Jillian. They probably will go with her because she is a fan favorite and ABC has to save face with some of the crazy, angry fans of the show.

How can all of you honestly say this was staged. Are you kidding me? Molly had NO idea. She was completely shocked as she couldn't even look at Jason she just kept looking and talking to Chris. I mean, poor Melissa..I love her but if Jason still was in love with Molly than it would be even more scummy of him to stay with Melissa any longer. He did the right thing and I hope Molly and Jason the best.

Why can't ABC just have a normal Bachelor/Bachelorette...we don't need all these crazy twists!

Hey does anyone think that perhaps Melissa completely changed after the show? How else do you explain that she's been the dumpee all of her life? Women that beautiful don't get dumped that often. I'm thinking that she must have gone completely psycho after the engagement was announced. I also think Molly gave us some insight to the real person Melissa was by telling him in New Zealand that Melissa is not the person he thought she was. Maybe I'm reading too much into it and yes Jason was wrong for embarassing her on national TV but I have to think that Melissa isn't as sweet and innocent as she appears. There's something hidden underneath the surface there.

Melissa'a choice of words were ugly
and hoping that Molly doesnt build up resentment towards Jason for choosing Melissa over her.
I wrote it too fast and sent without re-reading lol
I think people are being way to hard on Jason. At least give him credit for ending it with Melissa before it went any farther. Only he knows his heart and was following it. Everyone makes relationship mistakes. Who knows if any of it was staged for tv or not. You can't believe half of what you see on tv anyway so I do not know why everyone is so pissed off. He has a right to be with who he wants. It would not surprise me if he even got paid to do all this in front of the cameras. People eat this stuff up which is probably why this was all aired on tv. I am sure Melissa got something out of it too so I do not feel sorry for anyone. Let them live their lives and who cares who he chooses. It doesn't affect anyone else here so let them be.

Hey everyone. Give the guy a break! How can anyone really know what someone else is like in such unreal conditons as The Bachelor. After the show was over, and real life set in, then you really get to know who the person is. Obviously, there was something else about Melissa that Jason didn't know or see until after the show, and vice versa. Maybe the same will be with Molly. Who knows? Anyway, let them live their lives!

What great theater! I just wish ABC would have left in the audience, thay would have been planning Jason's funeral today.

Its sad when adults decide their fate on "whats best for them and not for the kids". This is selfishness on Jason. its all about him and not what best for Ty. Melissa, I think has a better relationship with Ty rather than Molly. Do whats in your heart, I've heard that before A SELFISH APPROACH to self want.
Jason needs his custody re-evaluated by the courts. I believe Ty will suffer in the long run. I'm a dude and that's my opinion and I personally believe Steph has a different opinion
of Jason now!

I stopped watching the Bachelor many years ago. It just happened to be on the channel last night and it caught my attention. The history of this show speaks for itself . . .there has been what . . .one that has worked out (Trista and Ryan, good for them). Really, if you truely think that you can go on national television and find your true love (which are selected by the way) in front of producers and cameramen, more power to ya. Whether or not this was all set up, it will probably never be known. I just wish people would be sensible and realize that these people are real, they have a heart and feelings. But then on the other hand, they were stupid enough to apply for the show.

What the hell.He turned out to be such an ass. He doesn't deserve any of those girls. Everyone felt sorry for him.WHY?! He just used all those girls. Then he goes on national TV again to hurt and embarrass someone he supposedly loved. Melissa deserves so much better, so does Molly but she is a fool to take sloppy seconds. They all should be ashamed of themselves. That is one of the biggest problems with this world, selfish, rude, hurtful, self centered people. There are consequences for our actions and others pay for them. Take responsibility Jason and grow up. You should be trying to set a better example to your son. The only thing you are teaching him is to be disrespectful to women and to only worry about himself. Hopefully he has a better male role model then his father.

Seriously everyone. How can you really be pissed? There is NO WAY those woman went to the final show last night without knowing what was about to happen. You all act like it's all Jason's fault. I GUARANTEE all of this happened with a lot of "coaching" from the network. He didn't dump her on national TV. They agreed beforehand to stage the drama. Surely this is the networks way of gaining rating, sympathy for Melissa and possibly a future TV show for her. I think J couldn't make up his wishy-washy mind and the network made the best of it.

I am truly amazed at the emotional outburst and rudeness of these comments. These gentlemen and ladies allow an audience to come into their lives to fulfill their dreams. It is really no ones business what decisions these people make. I think evey contestant has been amazing and gracious. I only wished the audience could be also.

Jason is a douche. Hes a weakling, and emotional train wreck. Melissa is the FAR better choice! Your loss you jerk. The way he acted on Jimmy Kimmel was a disgrace. He wont end up with Molly either. No woman should be with this weak jerk. What a crybaby. and on a side note...who fitted his suits? WAYYY too small. His family are a bunch of emotional train wrecks also. Could someone have ironed his sons shirt? The kid didnt even like Molly. Where is his first wife, she should have custody.

I did not watch this season at all....but i decided to just watch the finale.
OMG....the bad acting that the two ladies and Jason did was sooooooo obvious. You have to be kidding me that the people who run this show on ABC and do Television for a living could not get better acting coaches.
This was totally staged for ratings. It is absolutely very very obvious.
I knew there was a reason I stopped watching this crap about 2 or 3 years ago.
Ugh..... although I think Jason is still cute. ;o)

This should be called "The Bachelor-Worst Case Senario". ABC what where you thinking? Cruelty to bachelorettes is unkind...or is it? I think anyone who subject themselves to a national TV reality show has serious flaws. While Melissa was my favorite and did seem like the "girl next door" I just have to ask???????? why on earth would a beautiful girl like that need to be on this show? I don't get it...did you not know what you were getting into?? Melissa I hope you are well...and Jason I hope you grow up...Molly do you really want to be sloppy seconds???

First of all I think that all of you that say I WILL ENVER WATCH THIS SHOW AGAIN are kidding yourself. Jason is a good man. I truly believe that he believed he was in love with Melissa when he proposed to her. His comment about Melissa was always the same one: she knew how to show love. And he seemed to need that more than anything. But after hearing how Melissa talks after she was dumped tells me that maybe he saw that part of her before last night. Yes she was hurt but her choice of words were not ugly. Molly definitely appears more mature. I don't believe it was staged at all. The look in Molly's face says it all. She was shocked and Jason's tears were real. If anything at all was staged it was Deanna's visit to NZ. I wish my best to Molly and Jason. I just hope that Molly will not eventually build up some resentment towards Jason for choosing Molly over her at the final rose ceremony.

I agree with all those who hate Jason and ABC I'm sorry but Jason obviously hooked up with Molly who was given it and Melissa didn't so he goes to her takes her for a spin and then says yeah no I think I like Molly. He has a split personality that guy! I listened to him go on to Melissa about how he loved her and then CHANGES HIS MIND!!! Speed dating or not you know what your in for so if you can't make a decision then go back to your rock!

Jason likes to run from all of his problems..don't know what his problem was with his first wife but seeing that he was divorced before ty was three he obviously didn't give it a good shot! So it wasn't working out with Melissa so lets run again and go for Molly! The point of the show is to find ONE person and if it doesn't work then your SOL. You can't go back and try the next one..I am not watching the show AGAIN! Jason is the BASTARD Melissa called him..

I'm is disbelief. I thought Jason & Melissa were a good match. Jason's got no conviction- had Molly not said "you're making a big mistake" I think he would have been happy with Melissa. I think it just kept playing in his head and gave him doubts. Melissa was on the money with the fact that since he gave her a ring and a promise, he should have given them time together to see how it goes and work on it. They didn't even live in the same city, so how much of a chance did he give it. Since they have to be apart so long after the final ceremony until it airs, they don't really have time to bond until it does air. I think this is a huge flaw in the shows set up. The couple needs to be able to start living a "real" relationship as soon as possible, because they really don't have a strong foundation for a relationship to be able to get thru 6 wks or a couple months of not seeing each other. I think it was horrible to ambush Melissa on air, and so selfish & cruel on Jason's part.
