Is the show rigged? Is this done for drama - to get more people to watch? If so, I don't think it has succeeded.
This show spends a lot of money on ......at outcome like this? I am not sure "why". Things have changed so much on this show - from what it "used" to be. I certainly would change the whole format of this program - or maybe it has just run its course of just another reality show - without a lot of depth. True, there is no "guarantee" that you will meet THE one - but at least, they could say I want to keep seeing you - and forget all of this proposal stuff. It has become so high schoolish. Wish you would change the way things are being done.

Melissa wasn't wearing the ring when she showed up at the After show, but she had it in her hand when it was time to give it back to Jason. When she sat down next to him, she had her legs crossed away from him...body language for "I don't want to be with you."
I hope Molly loves being called "MOLL." I sure wouldn't.
In all these weeks, I never heard Jason say anything of substance. Did anyone ever get an idea of what his goals and values are, what industry or career he works in, whether has a college degree in something, etc. (We know he didn't major in English grammar.) Aren't those things that contribute to whether you want to spend your life with someone? After all, ABC won't be around to pay for exotic dates any more.

Note to both Melissa and Molly from an older, not so much wiser woman: run, now. Do not look back. There is no winner in this situation. He's a big, spoiled baby, probably an even bigger one than little Ty. The world is full of people and places and opportunities. Ol' Jason isn't one of the goodies.
Best of luck to both women. Repeat, women, Jason, they're not "girls."

Before the season started my oldest son who is 28 said to watch jason because he would use his son to get a girl...so I watched anyway. I just have one thing to say....now we KNOW why Jason is alone and unlucky with love!!! He could have broken up with Melissa and later on called Molly IN PRIVATE. How humiliating for Melissa. Just a mother of boys' intuition...Molly does not seem like she will easily become a stepmom...it will be tough anyway since Ty has been with his Dad alone...power struggle alert. We should have known when they sealed the deal in the tent early on and Jason kept saying he couldn't get enough of her!!! Ugh. My advice to Jason...get a dog for your kid and be celibate for awhile. Your child need stability and love, if I was the ex I would be thinking about sole custody at this point!

Well, after last week when ABC almopst walked us through to this next episode and tried keeping America in suspense, it was a shoddy way to end a perfectly great show called the Bachelor. EVERYONE believes in love and wants to follow a love match of almost any sort; excpetion, when you have someone like Jason M. who was the previous bachelor DUMPED in the Bachelorette show.
After as long as the show has been on the air, I have watched religiously both the Bachelor and the Bachelorette. I have also hosted parties in my home for friends who have followed both shows just to get opinions about how others in the dating scene think this show portrays dating individuals in America.
We are all in SHOCK! In a million years, I would have never thought that payback for being dumped by DeaAnna would then cause the Bachelor, Jason to do the same to someone else. But then this is ratings, and all of that right? Let me inform you of a little secret, out of 14 people, 14 INDIVIDUALS WILL

Mimi you may be on to something with your analysis but I don't think Jason was looking for the chase. I think something happened after the proposal to open his eyes. Was Melissa really so sweet and innocent or was it all an act for TV? Maybe she wasn't thrilled about leaving Texas and her family. Maybe she wasn't thrilled with the way Jason was different after the show ended. ABC creates a fantasy world for these people but after the show ends it really is a different world out there. There aren't hot air balloon and catamaran rides waiting for you every weekend. There is a job, a 3 year old boy and a lot of responsibility waiting for them around the corner and that could have not been easy to get used to.

I am totally and utterly disgusted with ABC. If this was a stage and I think it was, then ABC is the joke here. To do something this distasteful to a young caring person such as Melissa on the air is low. Molly and Jason will not last because I think for one, Jason falls in and out of love its seems way to soon with everyone. He is a total waste of energy. I hope Melissa isn't the next bachelorette because ABC does not deserve her. Hopefully Melissa will regain her confidence soon and forget that loser Jason.

Nadia, you are the one who is out of touch with reality! Jason was "in love" with a dream girl who ended up not being who he thought she was. He didn't "just stop loving" her. He was in love with a dream who ended up in reality not being who he thought she was. How can you really be in love with anyone that you don't really know?

I am never going to watch this show again. Jason is DIVORCED for a reason. (Hello People!) It made me sick! Jason you are an ass. Chris you are a bigger ass. I wish that Molly would have come out and said, "sorry buddy, I've moved on and I think you should too" This is a sick show! I am upset by the way, the PLAYED Both sides. ABC you bombed big time.

My heart breaks for Melissa. She is much better off without him. Better that Jason shows his true colors now then after they are married with children. This show is officially a joke!

I agree that the whole thing stinks for Melissa. However, Jason is just being a typical male in my opinion. No offense guys, I love men and am married. But let's be honest here, men love the chase. And I think with Melissa there wasn't any. I think he might have felt smothered by her constant affection and attention. He was clearly in love with both women, but for totally different reasons. Melissa was safe, a sure thing and great with Ty. But where's the excitement in that? Molly was the "unknown". Harder to get and more of a challenge to keep. And looking at his track record is seems as if he likes that. Will it work with Molly? Who knows. Maybe. Was it fair to Melissa, not really, but this might be the reason she's been dumped several times before. It is possible to love someone too much in a smothering way.
Who know's what happened with Melissa and Jason after the show ended and they went back to real life. Maybe they fought, maybe she was jealous and clingy, maybe he is just a

Deanna screwed with his head once again. She told him she chose with her heart and not her head and made a mistake. So Jason followed her experience and did the opposite and got screwed. The bottom line about all of this is you cannot know if you love someone enough to marry them after SIX weeks! He should have never proposed and I think the breakup would have been more acceptable. People propose way too quickly these days, myself included!

Nation Broadcasted Breakup: what was Jason thinking when he agrred to that, obviously there is SOMETHING WRONG going on in his mind.
The infamous "It was what I was feeling in the moment" is so emotional, and an excuse to his making decisions.
I hope Molly doesn't get hurt when Jason "feels" like she may not be a fit for him.

Let's face it I think a lot of people are mad at Jason for breaking off things with Melissa but she knew it was over when she walked on that stage. Something had gone wrong over the holidays as Jason had mentioned and it soured. Blame ABC for airing the public breakup instead of letting them break up off camera and come on the show to talk about what happened. I do have to agree with Melissa in one way. How can you tell someone you love them, propose to them and then not want to fight for them? I think he chose with his head instead of his heart to be safe for him and Ty and it didn't work. Sometimes people make mistakes. So blame ABC for airing the embarassing break up, don't blame a confused Jason.

If Jason thought that "things changed" during those six weeks then welcome to the real world where things and people do actually change! You don't just stop loving someone that easily!! Melissa can do much better than Jason who is an immature jerk who is out of touch with reality!
MELISSA -- Be glad to get rid of Jason. You can do much better. MOLLY -- Are you for real? How can you go with a guy who dumps you for another woman, then 6 weeks later dumps her? You, too, can do much better. ABC -- Why do you air such a pathetic, demoralizing show? Can't you get do better? JASON -- You humiliated both women. Where's your integrity?

Their contracts state that the journey that he and the bachelorettes took was to be captured on camera. It was in poor taste on the part of the network to push it. As far as realizing that Melissa and he were not right for each other...much as it seemed to be a jerk move, he did what he felt was right for himself and his son. Much like Brad Womack, everyone got on him for being true to himself and not picking either bachlorette, but what is someone supposed to do-live a lie? I hope that all involved do find their own happiness. I wish the best to Jason and Molly and that Melissa is led to the one she is really supposed to be with-much like Jenny on Brad's season-letting her go was the best thing for her!
