I have been a religious fan of the bachelor every season and I absolutley LOVED jason.. until tonight. I will boycott the bachelor.. I cannot believe that Jason had the audacity to do that to melissa.. NO human being should EVER go through what he put her through. He doesn't use his brain! Yes, you can't control love.. but you sure as hell can control your stupidity! This was absolutely stupid on his part. He could have at least done it right and not on camera and NOT ran to Molly 5 min later. Dumbass!

Oh my God! I just can't believe Jason. My heart just goes out to Melissa. I don't know if it was staged, but I do think that if he truly couldn't stop thinking about Molly, then he needed to let Melissa go. I don't agree with the way he did it and I think he owes her a true and sincere explanation. It did kind of seem like Molly knew what was going on from the start and I think that she had been in touch with Jason prior to the show. I really like Melissa and it just broke my heart when she asked "What did I do?". The way Jason looked at her and hesitated to say "nothing", was just so messed up! Although I think Jason acted like a punk, I hope he and Molly are happy together. I also hope and KNOW that Melissa will find a wonderful man to give her everything Jason couldn't. Keep you head up sweetie!

Gosh I am so mad this just happened!!!!!!!!I read in the US weekly magazine last week that this was going to happen. It mentioned that ABC was trying to gain more viewers for their show by planning this the whole time! Well from what I can see, they have done just the opposite. First off, Jason your an ASS and Molly your desperate. This thing was so staged in was unbelievable. Poor Melissa. I will never watch this show again. To think I wasted the past 2 months watching this show because I actually felt bad for Jason, is ever dumber. Jason, Melissa is right, your a bastard. I feel bad for your son. I used to think Jason was a great guy. But now I think he's just a self-absorbed idiot! I think he only cares about how he appears to the public. I think he's so afraid of being hurt again that he blew the only sure thing he's ever had and dumped her. Now he's going for all the drama in picking Molly and that won't last more than 6 more weeks tops! She'll dominate him and surely dump him. He's so stupid to think he made a mistake, it's called responsibility. He didn't even give Melissa a fair chance. What a commitment phob. I'm so discussed with Jason I had to voice my opinion, if I ever see Jason and Molly I'm going to throw something at them. He's such an idiot. What a loser!

I think that because Jason had been in Molly's shoes, he identified strongly with her the moment he broke it off. It was the identification with those feelings of rejection that pulled him towards Molly and away from Melissa. It couldnt have helped that he was haunted by Deanna's mistep.
I think Melissa is right. He is a bastard for not fighting for their relationship, and she deserved more than to be broken up with on TV. I am sorry Melissa. Unfortunatelly, this time your parent's cautiousness was right.

Jason doesn't know what real love is. I think he is a selfish bastard. How could you tell one girl you love her, that she's the ONE you've been waiting for all your life, and then change your mind after a few weeks? What a jerk!!! I would understand a little better if Melissa turned out to be a bitch or something, but the girl didn't do anything to deserve being hurt and humiliated like that.
It's insane! I was so angry at Jason, and Molly is so fake, and spineless, brainless. Jason doesn't deserve Melissa. I hope she finds somebody who will truly love her, who would fight for her, and somebody who wouldn't dump her ever. She should've have kept the ring!
That was so fake and yes we all know they were talking before the show tonight. Playing both sides... But lets think about this... he has been playing this game for some time now so what did everyone think "it would stop" He had his cake and was eating it too. Every mans dream... all the women he could dream of, fighting over him and sleeping with him. First would you really want a man who has kissed every person in the room? They really should be thinking about what he could have given them.... Fever blister anyone???

While watching this last episode, I noticed during one of the teasers for upcoming scenes that the engagement ring Jason held was not the ring he chose and gave Melissa. I was suspicious after that, especially after hearing the buzz that he may dump one of them for the other after the last rose ceremony. Then I started noticing how he was crying so much and saying that he was in love with two women and he didn't know what to do. Other bachelors have said similar things but not as cry-babyish as him--like he was trying too hard to get sympathy for his "horrible" life-changing dilemma. I wouldn't want a man who cried that much. I was getting really tired of hearing that kind of crap over and over again--like when he kept saying "when she looks at me with THOSE eyes"--I wondered what other eyes she should have looked at him with or if she had another pair hidden somewhere. THEN when he finally told Molly he was in love with someone else (duh, like who?), I wondered how he could have figured that out so clearly and definitively in just one day between all his crying and indecision. Then when he walked Molly to the car and they were on the balcony and she kept saying that he was making a mistake and said it like three times, I definitely felt something was up. I couldn't believe it. I've never heard the dumped one say anything like that--it was like some contrived foreshadowing in a bad soap opera. I kept wondering that if I was right, how stupid the producers must think the viewing audience is. And it was too contrived that Deanna came back and told him to do the right thing--and not to do what she did. She told him not to go after the fun person, like she did, and he had said he had a lot of fun with Molly. So, it was obvious that he would pick Melissa because she was the one who showed that she was the better choice for what HE said he wanted in a wife and step mother for his son. I thought both women had drawbacks. He obviously was sexually attracted to Molly, and not because she slept with him in the tent, right in the beginning. Some people are just more sexually attracted to some than they are to others. I think that's what this is about--sex--one is better in the sack than the other and because of that he said one thing about what he wanted but ultimately chose the one who was more fun in bed--he's a hypocrite. He'll soon find out that that is not what it's all about, especially after the kid gets older. Molly just turned him on and whether they were all in on it or not or whether he really changed his mind and they decided to make ratings out of it, it was a poor joke to play on viewers. That all doesn't matter now. Obviously a lot of these programs are planned, staged, and manipulated, but I think this was planned for a while. Like some of the blogs said, it got ratings. After the fact, we can see it in their scripted dialogue. Now, if Melissa comes back as the next Bachelorette, we'll know it was planned, and she was in on it. They probably promised her the next season or a subsequent season and brought back Deanna to remind people how nice she is. If that was me and I WASN'T in on it, I'd sue their asses for embarrassing me on live TV, and during that After the Final Rose show, I would have told them where to stick it. Of course, I would have done that after telling them I'm keeping the ring.
