I cannot believe what the d!ck head did!!!! i liked him until he did what he did to my girl melissa. I thought they were so GREAT together...then he broke up with her on NATIONAL TV!!!! A$$HOLE!!!! so pissed. I hope him and molly DO NOT work out. Melissa did not deserve to find out about it on air. I am so over the bachelor! Seriously, Melissa was soooo real, and molly is just so fake. and the B!tch even said he was making a mistake..i wonder if thats what caused Jason's doubts! I CANNOT believe that he wasn't willing to fight for the only real girl on the show. They were great together. But i can only hope that melissa will a find a guy that is completely blown away by here and only her. She deserves someone 1000 times better then Jason. I though he was a great guy...but he proved all watchers wrong last night :( So good luck Melissa! and i DO NOT wish Jason the best at all.GRRRR! He totally pissed me off. And molly shouln't be shocked when he does the same thing to her. She isn't ve

I think it was very low class of Jason doing that to Melissa on national TV.H

Melissa said it best before Jason ever proposed...she said he would either take her heart or break it. To our shock and surprise, Melissa or anyone watching never expected him to do both!

he is a pig----wonder why the first wife ditched him-might make a good story-poor Molly for being second choice-she is an ass-hey it did not work out with number 1 so I guess I will pick you-you lucky girl-----

Melissa had every right to call him a bastard. He knew what he was doing when he picked Melissa instead of Molly. He didn't go with his heart. I think it is a little dramatic to see a man crying over a bannister. What weak man he is. I truly hope Ty will be o.k. I don't think I will be watching The Bachlor anymore.

Ladies stop hating on Jason. It's obvious to all us guys that Melissa is one of the those psycho crazy sluts that drive us crazy. I bet no sooner than an hour after taping he realized he had chosen the crazy one.
Melissa is great to bed, but not to wed.
He's realized that and wants a do over. Good for him!

OMG That jerk had everyone feeling sorry for him and his son after being dumped on the last show and he does the same thing to Mel, only this was more cruel. He proposed and had the girl believing that they'd be together for SIX weeks. Then he's trying to make himself look better by saying that she knew all along that things weren't working out???? Melissa went soft on him because i would have shoved the ring down his damn throat. And Molly WHAT A BITCH!!!! The guy just dumped his fiance on national t.v. and you're already swapping saliva with him? NASTY!!!! I hope that you get Herpes. I guess the one night in the tent paid off Molly. Nice role model for Thai.

I totally agreed with what Jason did - Melissa obviously changed once the cameras stopped rolling and Jason didn't feel he had to spend the rest of his life with her if he wasn't going to be happy. Do you honestly think he should???? Molly is perfect for him, I think they will make it for sure and live happily ever after - isn't that what we want? Melissa's been dumped 3 times and you think she's great???? A charmer for sure but a wife???

I am sooooooooo disappointed in the show....This is the first time i've watched it. My family members were talking about the last season so I decided to watch it for myself. I really liked Jason and felt that he and Melissa did make a great couple. She was one of my picks from the very beginning. How could someone be so cruel!!!! As the saying goes, "WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND" and Jason YOU will get just what you deserve. It sounds like you were not speaking the truth because you did tell Melissa that you loved her and wanted her to be your wife so how can you fall out of love so quickly.... WAS IT REALLY TRUE LOVE... HUH!!!

Jason is such a pansy! No wonder he has gotten divorced... now we see why Melissa is right marriage is forevr and you fight for someone ... you dont give up when things get a little tough.. That's crap! and a cop out! Todays society is awful easy to just give up! If my husband and I ever .... get in an arguement or fight i tell you what we will duke it out and stay together.. that's why there is a guest room... You dont just give up! A circle is neverending that's thewhole point in a ring! What a PANSY he is... and how stupid is molly... What girl would want a guy...she is just sloppy seconds! and he dont want to be alone! She should not do that! My gosh... how low can you go! Jason was a single guy for a reason and I bet Jason's EX wife was yelling at the tv !!! THATS WHY WE ARE NOT TOGETHER ANYMORE!

My heart goes out to Melissa. She did not deserve this...and had it been me, I would have kept the ring and posted it on eBay. When the guy does the dumping, the girl is entitled to keep the ring. Melissa deserves something for all the trouble Jason put her through. And here I thought that Bachelor had finally found a way to bring back its glory days of Trista and Ryan. Instead, the show only solidified my belief that it is only about creating a fantasy lust-land for whomever is supposedly "searching for love." The Bachelor has lost a viewer for ever!

I'm truly disappointed in ABC. I have enjoyed all of the Bachelor/ette shows. Jason said that he has a contract and had to end it with Melissa on screen. After he had his heart broken by Deanna, I can't believe that he would agree to that. Pretty desperate huh Jason? I knew from the start that he would choose Melissa and that it wouldn't last. Not enough time for real people to get to know the real person. I think the show will lose a lot of viewers after last night. Maybe if they weren't required to propose on the last show things would be more real.
Molly is an idiot for taking him back after she was dumped but that won't last either. He is not the great guy that he portrays himself to be. Maybe there is a reason that he is divorced???

i'm sorry but this was a low blow if i ever saw one... i really liked jason and i was so excited that he picked melissa but when i saw what a bastard that he could be to go on air and actually break up with her and tell her he still had feelings for molly omg thats just wrong.....then for molly to go and say yeah we can try are you kidding me what makes you think that he won't turn on you either.........basically molly is sad for even given him another chance i would have laugh in his face and said your sad and you really don't know what love is .............and yes if he has these feeling for molly he had to have been still talking to her

This guy is a pig.
The only reason he did the show was 1)money and publicity and 2) because he was jilted from the bachelorette. As far as Molly is concerned she's stupid. The guy turned her away, asked a rival to marry him , then jilts her and goes back to Molly tail tucked between his legs. She should have just told him to kiss her ass and walk off the set. Besides he cries way too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So disqusted! I will not waste time with this show again! THIS is the problem with society--and the problem that the fairy tale "bell" eventually strikes midnight and you have to "Wake Up"--Reality is that love is a choice, and we have chosen too much in the way of "HOW I FEEL!" GROSS! We get pulled into these shows and then can't understand why there are problems in society and real life marriages! All the better for Melissa! Sad state of love and marriage for the rest of us!

My husband and I were shocked! I'm all for not knowing people's feelings and love being unpredictable but you just don't do that on national television!!! He wanted to break up quickly to rekindle a relationship in a matter of minutes or hours?? I was wondering if there was a contract on ABC's part that would possess Jason to breakup on TV. (Meaning he couldn't see Melissa in person until the Rose ceremony or Molly?)I couldn't believe Molly did not have the integrity to give him a wait and see answer w/o all the disgusting kissing and affection on TV. I would feel like trashy seconds. Give the man time to be alone and grow up!

One more comment before I get back to my own reality of being a mommy- it was obvious that Jason had strong feelings for Molly or else he wouldnt have been so upset letting her go. That being said I dont think it was so crazy he decided he truly did love her. Apparently they are forced to make a lifelong decision within hours of spending their last date together. So I dont think it is that crazy for Jason to realize after the fact that he really did love Molly. Especially since he was in so much pain after letting her go. So as Chris said these "contestants" are well aware that their love story good or bad will be televised to make for good tv...why else would we want to watch it. So I cant understand why people get "angry" with the outcome or the way things are done. I will keep watching and enjoying Chris. For the hopeless romantics-theres always Trista and Ryan :)

I am angered and disgusted by last nights turn of events.I 'm not really surprised by ABC's decision to run and promote the episode the way they did (almighty ratings)but the lack of integrity on Jason's part was shocking . Mistakes happen . People change their minds - but to humiliate someone on national TV like that is inexcusable. Contract or no contract. Just remember Jason, Karma's a bitch !

I think Syl is right. The times I've seen this show it is degrading to the women who are on there. The way they show some of the behavior towards the guy or the girl who they are trying to get the proposal. That's why I think it is fake and not reality. I guess I'm a bit old fashioned. I mean they are kissing and groping someone they don't know.

Chris if I am ever in Dallas I want my husband and I to grab a cold one with you and your wife. You are a fabulous host who quite frankly makes this show worth watching. You make it so down to earth. I am a hopeless romantic who does enjoy some of the trainwrecks that come along the way with the contestants...but all in all am rooting for the true fairytale here. Jason had a son and was married before so bottom line, he had to do everything in his power to get it right this time around and unfortunately it made for some great tv. Heres to the Bachelor/ette and Chris Harrison! Does anyone realize that no matter how real it is, its TV..and next you will have to be throwing in a disclaimers in the beginning of the show. Well written blog Chris..again I will say you are a huge part of what makes this show watchable! Cheers from NJ

Melissa should have kept the ring.......Shame on Jason. He has some issues and I'm thinking we might see another change of heart from Jason after six weeks of dating Molly. He needs to find someone the old fashion way. I don't even like Jason anymore. In the beginning I thought he was a "nice guy". Yeah right!!!!!! We always reap what we sow!!! Ament

i am from Canada and i saw poor Melissa get dumped on T.V. I'm telling you if it was a Canadian girl getting dumped on T.V., she would of slapped him on the way out. Jillian is Canadian and she had to be the classiest participant ever. Melissa was my 2nd choice. Molly wasn't even considered, prissy little country girl who looked scared as heck when having to spend time with Ty. Ty didn't like her at first. He liked Melissa though and was calling for her, that should of given you a clue. Anyways alot of us Canadians think the same as me and will probably never watch the bachelor again. At least my friends and mom aren't going to watch it again. You don't do that on t.v. show some class and do it in private and don't go asking another girl to take you back not even a half hour later and after you told her to go home.
All i can say is Jason Mesnick is a complete Jack.... All the Bachelors are jerks. I thought he was different though, but he is the worst. Th
