The amount of time these people on the show spend together before the forced proposals is probably equal to half-a-dozen (or less) dates in the "real world". What results can be expected from this?

I am a compassionate person, but have little sympathy for anyone going on a show like this to find love. It's not as if the only alternative is the "bar scene"; for Heaven's sake, there is E-harmony (among other good sources) to find a truly suitable match.

I saw only one woman refuse an "all-nighter" as far as an "intimate experience" was concerned; the 4 finalists all have a sexual tryst with the bachelor, knowing that he will be with all of them! I think it's pathetic.

And as far as Jason M's changing his mind re Melissa, and going public with this, it was in the contract to do so (sad) and he said that she already knew that things weren't going well between them.

I think there has been only one marriage out of the series- the exception that proves the rule.

All of those proposals really translate to "I'd like to get to know you better than the rest of the contenders". I'm sorry, but anyone who is willing to turn an attempt at romance into a public spectacle has little to complain about when everything goes south.

And for pete's sake, when there is one bachelor/ette and 25-30 contenders, are we supposed to believe that all of these guys/gals are going to fall for the bachelor/ette? It is little more than an ego-trip- competition for most of them-especially the guys. And how many gals in the "real world" suffering a "devastating" break-up would be on a TV show as a dance contestant so soon afterwards? The lady wants her 15-30 minutes of fame, methinks.

Also, remember we see only bits and pieces; let's not judge anyone for feeling he's/she's made a mistake. And I think anyone who would go on a show like this has some serious personality/ego issues.

  4. Nancy Says:

It was clear to watchers from the start that Molly was the best choice, with Jillian a close second. It is wrong for people to be so critical of Jason for coming to his senses. The really cruel thing would have been for him to continue with Melissa when it was not working.

While Melissa is very talented, she also seemed immature and not really ready for the stepmom role.

My best wishes to Jason and Molly.

  5. Hailey Says:

i think jason should of picked melissa! but its his decision and i hope that he knows that a bunch of us were mad at him!!!!!!!!:(

  6. tobey Says:

I finally see what Jason sees in Molly (himself), she looks like him with long hair.

  7. sue Says:

jason,i was so happy when you and melissa didnt get married.i think she was a phony all along, and used this show as a stepping stone to be noticed, and try and gain stardom..she knew this man she now is engaged to as told by her on t.v. before she met you and believe she still wouldn't have really married you even though she accepted the proposal. she probably was cool with you after the show was over because she had him in the back of her mind.she knew before you were both on the bachelor show it wasn't working&would be breaking it off.she thinks the public is nieve.obviously you weren;t sensing any real relationship or attachment or committment from her and knew you two didn't click after the show was over but acted so surprised?i was very happy for your mature and wise decision and did what you had to do for you and your son, and she certainly picked herself up suspiciously quick for someone who claims she was shocked and called you a stupid s.o.b on national t.v.. i'm proud of you and hope you have a wonderful future with molly and your son as a family.p.s.if she was thinking of your son at all she would have wanted the best for him,you coudn't ignore you have a son and he is a part of your decision on who you marry.i don;t believe she really would have tried to be a parent to him.whether you and molly get married is the choice of both of you and if it doesn't i hope the best for both of you.you look darling together !god bless you.
