It was clear to watchers from the start that Molly was the best choice, with Jillian a close second. It is wrong for people to be so critical of Jason for coming to his senses. The really cruel thing would have been for him to continue with Melissa when it was not working. While Melissa is very talented, she also seemed immature and not really ready for the stepmom role.
