Don't hate Jason,
It's too bad that they had to show the two segments back-to back.Love someone,dump the person right after that.I guess we were emotiuonally involved and that was hard to watch. I agree that I should not have proposed to Mellissa if he wasn't too sure. Why not just continue to date ? Please understand that the segments happened 6 weeks apart. He realized that after they dated off camera that Melissa changed and was different. I believe him. I think he iss sincere. Because of his contract he HAD to do the dumping on camera, which was unfortunate. Don't hate the show for that ! Just relax. Some people are SO mad ! Just let it go. It's reality TV you know.

There was a prior season of the Bachelor who was an ER doc (Trevor?) who did NOT have an "After the Final Rose Ceremony" and they also broke up but not in front of millions of viewers. As the short-lived fiancee she deserves that privacy. BTW, what is so "amazing" about him? Sensitivity is fine but he cries a river all the time, just like that character in Bedazzled, LOL!

Really didn't expect that of Jason.I mean come on, i know when he signed his contratc with Abc for this show they would have explained to him that at the end of the show they will can't see each other until the season is finish on T.v and he still had the Guts and the heart to do that.He never tried thats the whole thing.He needs to know Before you decide you have to try first and before you quit you try oncne more again. He fails to realize that he has a child comin up and i want to know how would he feel if a some one do that to Ty. Melissa is a very genuine young lady and she complimented Jason very well... Confusion and regret are feelings that everyone has... and the emotions must run really high in an unorthodox environment of dating a dozen gals in a short period of time... BUT to break-up with someone, to end one's engagement on television is truly a low life bastard move... AND to blame the show, makes him a pathetic SOB. He should have let her known beforehand... it doesn't matter that things were not going well... taking that several notches to breaking up is a different story.

I didn't watch the whole show but did get into it towards the middle. I think that Stephanie would of been the best choice. A strong beautiful structured women who was mature and understood what " Real world " love truely means she was a single Mom and him a single dad PERFECT Maybe tooo Perfect. I think that Jason was stuck on looks than common interest!!!!!Its funny I actually thought he was going to change his mind. The show is kinda predictable. When he sent Stephanie home I thought he was going to say then he made a mistake.

I think everyone is being way to hard on Jason. Sure what he did to Melissa was heartbreaking, but so is lying and misleading a person. I feel no one has the right to judge anyone until you walk a day in their shoes. If you were not there, then there are missing poece that only Jason and Melissa know. Beside you can not help who you love. In the "Real World" people break up all the time and go back to someone they were with before; however people are not blogging about them critizing them. Seriously it is a show and there are far worse things in the world then break ups. My heart goes out to Melissa but I also wish Jason and Molly the best of luck.
