The charge stems from a September 26 incident when Winehouse allegedly hit dancer Sherene Flash in the face after she asked to take a picture with Amy.
Last week, Winehouse canceled her appearance at the Coachella festival in April due to her legal problems, which would make it difficult for Amy to obtain a U.S. visa. Her rep confirmed the cancellation was due to "current legal issues."
