This was my first (and last) time watching the Bachelor. Melissa is a jewel that Jason is, obviously, too dense to appreciate. He appears to be a wimpy, narcissistic loser who would never be good enough for this lovely woman who allowed herself to be open to love and got rewarded with pain.

Melissa, Jason's change of mind frees you to be available for someone good enough for you.

Best of luck to you, lovely one

  2. i can't believe I watched that crap

That dude is the biggest tool in America. Did anyone else notice his kid seems retarded. If Mellisa was my sister I would snap that dip shit in two.

  3. Jeanette Lopez

What a piece of crap Jason is. Everyone is entitled to change their mind but to do it in the manner that he chose to, he is a real piece of work! I hope Melissa does well atleast she is able to see that things happen for a reason and it is best that she does not end up with this creep. And desperate Molly she thinks this is her little fairy tale ending Hah! Team Melissa!

  4. Kid Drama

I don't think Jason is really looking for love, he seems to really only love himself and his wrapped up in his own self important world. When he doesn't feel he is getting enough attention or feels he has to amp up the drama he will cry for good measure. Most women prefer to be with a man, not a cry baby in his 30's.

There's absolutely no doubt about TV/producers etc playing a role in the drama and it would be a mistake if we the viewing public didn't have some sense of this from square one, that being said surely each and every contestant is made aware of the ramifications it plays in their personal daily lives before they ever see the light of a set or camera.
In summation Melissa i chose you to be the 'one' numerous episodes ago and not only because of the obvious chemistry between Jason and yourself but speaking on my own behalf I would as well.

OMG I am so disgusted with this show. I loved Melissa from the begining... He made a big mistake... What a CREEP!!! Eww and after he broke up with melissa and then was kissin on Molly 5 min later... BARF! This show and Jason SUCK!

I'm glad I'm not the only who one who feels hatred towards the show! Whether it was TV execs or reality... I know FOR SURE that I will no longer tune in to any more seasons of the Bachelor/ette.

I'm sure it was 90% the producers adding this unexpected twist. I hope it will only hurt their ratings in future seasons because it has given such a horrible misrepresentation for love and an engagement. It's almost like they're poking fun of the ordeal, and making it seem like a game. The reason I think it's all TV and little reality, is because how in God's name do you fall in love with three different people in a matter of a year enough to not know which one you want to truly marry?! He should've just said he wanted more time at the final rose ceremony or something!

Poor Molly for seeming to be second best, poor Melissa for all of the embarrassment, and SCREW Jason for allowing any of it to happen! Poor Ty... how confused could he be... woman after woman! Hopefully he grows up

    Hey Mel, email me ASAP!!!

  9. COMEON

for the love of god people......lighten up on the guy.....so he made a mistake!!! it's better that he realize now rather than marry melissa and then divorce her!!!! and YES i'm glad he did it on TV!!!! they ALL agreed to take part in a TELEVISION SHOW!!!!!! if they wanted it to be private than they should have stayed home!!!!!!!

The most outright "clue" - strictly a female thing - was the total and complete disaster of Melissa's hair. What was that about? Beautiful gown - ugly, unkempt hair surrounding a face that gave away the entire plot.

  12. Sunday

Ok, I wasn't going to post anything else after the first one, but I just HAD to respond to "Yankee".......ROFLMAO. I totally agree with you! Melissa's hairdo was a total disaster indicative of what was to follow after the final rose ceremony. Good lawd, what was she thinking? Other than her hair that night, she looked beautiful. Poor girl - bad hair day, bad, bad, boyfriend. Run, Mel, run! Just keep going and don't look back, sweetie. *sigh*

What a joke!! I mean, how many people can you "Fall in Love with"!! "I fell in love with Deanna", "I fell in love with Molly", "I fell in love with Melissa" and "I fell in love with CHRIS"!(Opps that was the Host) Well, anyway Melissa was the right pick. I think Jason is a "Switch Hitter any way. You know (PLAYS for the other Team!!) Melissa, Hang in there! Mr Right will come along!! Good Luck! P.S. (Jason is a Losser!!)

One word or you Molly ... RUN.

This man is like windshield wipers ... this woman er ah no this woman er ah no this woman ... run while you still have your sanity.

I am completely disgusted with what they allowed Jason to do on national tv. The bachelor/ette hasn't allowed someone to change their mind before and go for second or third choice. Why now? First, the fiasco with Deanna getting left, we all fell in love with her then she screws Jason over. Jason become bachelor does the same thing, then breaks up with Melissa and asks Molly out in the same breath. Regardless of what Molly said about thinking every day of Jason and him knocking on her door and asking for her back, the first thing she should have said when he asked, was "who are you????" How do you go from being divorced, on the bachelorette, getting dumped, getting on the bachelor, doing the same thing by not picking Molly, then screwing over Melissa on national tv? I wouldn't believe a word that man says and trust him to commit. ABC made a big mistake here allowing this to happen. There should be no more participants on this show related to Deanna and Jason's seasons and compl

Melissa and Molly are both to good for that Drama King! OMG bro do you enjoy hurting women trying to find love. Is that what you do for fun is rip out women's heart? Hey! I hope Molly is smart enough th see he has no idea what he wants!
    I
    I hope Molly I hope looser!aI

If ABC wants to keep high ratings, they should use more class. People are romantics and want to see a heartwarming romantic ending. There's no need to humiliate a perfectly nice young woman on national TV. If Jason was not sure who he was truly inlove with, he should have given them equal time after the final rose and returned to make his final decision after he has dated each of them in the "real world". If in fact, he made the wrong decision at the final rose and wanted to go back to the other, it should not have been televised. Producers need to regroup.

Melissa and Molly are both to good for that Drama King! OMG bro do you enjoy hurting women trying to find love. Is that what you do for fun is rip out women's heart? Hey! Stay single Jason.

  19. Sunday

I truly believe that Jason wanted to do a "switch" way before the final show where he dumps Melissa, but wasn't allowed because of his "contract" with ABC. Jason probably faced a major lawsuit if he went behind their backs and contacted Molly. Jason is a major victim of Reality TV contracting gone bad. Jason definitely has emotional issues going on from his first marriage and the Bachlorette show with Deanna. He obviously has a problem with his inability to make decisions. Jason has gotten so caught up with the TV cameras he doesn't know his right from his left. He needs to go home to his son and start over again. NO Molly, NO Melissa. ABC's The Bachelor has long outlived it's run. PLEASE take it off the air. The viewers are now thoroughly discusted.

  20. Jill

ABC and Jason have done the cruelist thing I have ever seen on TV. Publicly humiliating and hurting Melissa should never have happened. You made a huge mistake and have lost a loyal viewer. I will never watch this show again.

  21. Melinda

This show needs to END! I;m embarrassed to live in Seattle. If I ever see Jason I'll laugh at him. Seriously...17 seasons and ONE marriage? It doesn't work. And the one marriage that did work is with that insipid Trista who sounds like Minnie Mouse. Hey, I have an idea...let's all not watch together. Then ABC can focus on creating better shows.

  22. jennifer

Oh for goodness sakes. Melissa is an immature dumbell who doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground. Who would want to spend their lives with an idiot like her Parents who think their precious little bunnie shouldn't get married? Give me a break. Better Jason found out about this now that at the altar for some Bachelor Wedding Special.

  23. Al

It is the absolute worst demonstration of being a man that I have ever seen. Jason’s inability to act like a man is the reason he cannot find or keep a woman. He cried when he let Nikki go, then when he let Stephanie go, then when he let Jillian go, then when he let Molly go, and tonight when he let Melissa go. To validate what a creep he is he dumped Melissa on national TV then patronized Molly by asking her to take him back after dumping her on national TV then crying about that like a little boy. I really hope someone saves all this and shows it to his son so Ty will know just how low a man can go and will feel the shame his father should have for being a part of this.

If it is real like he told Melissa tonight then he is nothing more than a dirt bag for agreeing to be a part of such a demeaning action as he took with Melissa tonight, and for the low respect he had for Molly by asking for her to give him a second chance five minutes after he just dumped Melissa. If it wa

  24. Sandra

My family has watched the Bachelor/Bachelorette series since the beginning. After tonight, we may never watch again, and I hope MANY viewers will stand with me on this. Tonight reminded me of a Jerry Springer show. I KNOW that is was staged, and first, I believe that Melissa WAS really hurt, but part of the reason they aired it on TV, instead of letting him break up with her in private later, like most of them do -- perhaps she had a hard time accepting the break-up and he wanted to have it done on national TV, so it was DONE and she would accept him with Molly (a hard pill to swallow and cruel). Add to that, they make sure she is long gone and off the set before the scenes with Molly and Jason (were they fearing cat fight? Secondly, I do definitely think they did this for ratings, and it showed no sensitivity. I have lost respect for Chris Harrison, also, and believe he has changed a lot since the beginning. Not for ONE MOMENT do I believe that Jason and Molly hadn't talked, and

I agree with Topper - what a cry baby! If this is true same on him. If not, same on ABC! Plus what man would drag his 3 yr old son through this? This man has some serious issues! Girls RUN!
