come on people.. you have to think.. in real life.. its possible that things didnt work out you date someone a few times.. think your in love. and when you get down to it.. something is missing..... and he was in love with both, and realized he picked the wrong girl..
As far as breaking up on tv... come on.. its tv..made to make us watch.. anticipate.. my feelings on jason havent changed.i hope he finds happiness with molly..and they can get on with there life..

Why would Molly want to be second best and she is excepting it, doesn't she realize second is the first loser!! I feel like if she would allow a man in her life who did not want her in the first place, she has to be pregnant, I thought I noticed a slight bump last night and I didn't even hear the rumor that she might be pregnant yet. I feel like Melissa needs to be the next Bachelorette. I think a lot of this drama was for ratings by the network. Good luck Melissa and hey Molly I wonder if Jason is thinking about Melissa right now, do ya think???

You never know what will happen on "The Bachelor." Some of the show may be rigged to obtain better ratings, I have no doubt of it! Jason has always seemed to me to be a little bit confused so perhaps he really doesn't know what he wants in a relationship. We don't really know why he was divorced, do we? And we never saw what happened between him and Melissa after he proposed, either, so perhaps his breaking up with her was not all Jason's fault. I have never thought she was the best choice for him. But while I like Molly better than Melissa, Jason really should have gone with Jillian. While I do enjoy watchng the show, I think it's time for it to end!

Oh Lordy, that was just too funny - HIS BROTHERS can't stand him getting hurt... So its ok to dump a really nice girl like Melissa on national T.V.
It was nice to see Jason in a suit finally, even though it was a bit small... ABC should have gotten him a fashion consultant, as well as two cojones....
And Molly - did she leave her single brain cell at home???

I join the crowd that feels bad that Melissa practically "led to the altar" and then dumped. It's hard to believe Jason that she was that different after all the time that they spent together!

o wow am i pissed i just watched the after the final rose cuz i recorded it and omg melissa was completely right when she said that jason was a bastard , melissa didnt deserve that and it was amazing to me how one minuet he was ending it with melissa and then he is kissing molly on the couch!!!! wow jason that was very stupid of u , my heart goes out to melissa and she handled it very well i hope she finds an amazing man who truly loves her and sees the great person she is i hope that jason feels horrible about what he did to melissa, and i hope that jason gets the crap he deserves for doing this horrible thing i hope that this mistake haunts him forever.

You folks are goofy. I think it took integrity on Jason's part to admit to the public that he made a mistake. He could have slithered off like all the other bachelors, and just let it die down before announcing the breakup. You could tell that he felt bad and this was not done as a happy go lucky thing. As for Melissa, either she was not to smart to or she really did not care. She was aware of what was happening. I personally think she just wanted to win. She did not have to come on the show, but she wanted to get the empathy of the public, poor humiliated Melissa. And it obviously worked. Yes, she was cute and exciting, but immature. I do not have much sympathy for her, she knew the cost of doing this "SHOW" in the first place. Jason picking Molly makes me think we did not really know Jason at all, because Molly's personality is a bit strange. At least she is not giddy and silly. What happened here is not as horrible as it seems. It is real. I hope, Melissa is not the next bachelorette. I still think Jason is the best bachelor ever and I hope he finds what he is looking for.

This is my theory:
We all know with the producers it boils down to ratings....well I think that the teasers at the beginning of the show showing him slipping a ring on a brunette was to draw in viewers in thinking that it could possibly be Deanna that he dumps them for. This would up the ratings, then when they realize the one girl he is falling the most for is the "blond" they decide to work into the deal the "fake" proposal to Melissa. This will make all the curious viewers follow the show till the end, and then also put in place an excellant emotional cliff hanger and ending. This is what I thought all along when I remembered the teasers at the beginning of the show and realized that the one he chose, at least from a distance could have been any brunette. And we also know she was wearing light colored nail polish when the ring was put on her in the teasers, whereas Molly always had a dark pink/red polish throughout. I think it was all in the name of ratings and the producers got everything they were shooting for.

First off,This was the worst bachelor yet.The show should not have let this break up happen,on national television at all.No tact or taste yuck.Secondly you gotta quit airing these stupid people like Jason who couldn't make up his mind if his son's life depended on it,and Molly she is no better, no class from the last show ,kissing him right after he broke up with Melissa on National T.v ,I truthfully thought she would have been smarter more tactful.Jason's up there with Chris brown, the octa mom,except Chris Brown still young enough to get help and Octa mom has Angels in waiting to straighten her out,Jason he really made a fool forever on himself and I hope his kid picks some one different to look up too.Talk about confusion, Jason did everything he said he wouldn't and led so many people on.I do believe in karma and it has just begun with Melissa being beautiful on dancing with stars, wich by the way is more classy than the bachelor will ever be in my eyes from now on.Yuck,Jason is a little man trying to be all growed up....Not!!!!!!!!!!!!!Pls start picking true people,hey that might work better than the scandolous theory.

i think jason done melissa so wrong, the first show he got hurt , now he hurt melissa. i dont think he should have hurt melissa on tv like that. i liked melissa ,they looked good with each other. jason u should be ashamed of yourself. jason eat your heart out melissa looks really pretty on dancing with the stars. u go melissa.
