There’s still a lot of growing to do in our relationship. We will not tie the knot until I am mentally and physically prepared as well as Matt.

It was a fairytale proposal like I’ve always dreamed about. I forgot that there [were] cameras around. In that moment, it was just Matt and I and it was the most amazing moment of my entire life.

Melissa's got star quality, and ABC sees that. No way she's riding off into the sunset with this schmuck. Not unless there are ABC cameras following her. She's the "Sally Field" of 2009, and the network knows it. She's getting her own show, whether it's the Bachlorette or whatever. Just wish I had 10%.
I think it makes sense. I always wondered why ABC would show so much of the girl who was getting proposed to ... SETUP. But, hey, it is going to make for some GREAT tv. I was only watching this season because the bachelor is from my hometown. Now I feel like my viewing time is going to actually be worth it. I also always felt that while Melissa was really nice she does seem a little immature to be stepping into a step-mom role and moving across the country. I also think that all those clips they show of her saying that she has always been the "dumpee" is strategic as well. All this is in place to make us feel even more sorry for her when she's screwed over on National TV. I do feel a tad sorry for her but, hey, that's what you get when you sign up for ... a National TV show. I also think that Jason must've been really desperate to agree to doing something like this. I also would be curious to know how much Molly knew. Can't wait to see it happen though!
If this is true, then Jason is just as horrible a person or "worse" than Deanna (if that's possible)!!!!!!!!! And that's really sad, because I thought he was someone "special", but obviously I was wrong.
Or it's just Jason meeting Melissa's family for the first time without an audience because they are 'private' people. Maybe they figured out they screwed up with the pinkie ring and are throwing this out their to mess with our minds. Come on people. No relationship is going on between Molly and Jason.
If all of this is true, does anyone wonder if ABC planned all this just as a way to make America feel bad for Melissa and fall in love with her, in hopes of asking her to be the next Bachelorette. Similar to what happened to other Bachelors/Bachelorettes --> they get their heart broken while being a contestant on the show and then everyone feels bad for them, so when they are asked to star in the show, ratings will be extremely high, because everyone wants to see a happy ending for the person whose heart was broken. I know this is pretty cynical of me think this way, but sometimes I think this show has gotten out of hand, and that after 13 seasons, 1, maybe 2, success stories, they should just stop trying.
