Newsweek Spoofs The City with "The District"

If you watch MTV's The City (or The Hills, the similar, better-known reality show that spawned it), you will definitely appreciate this spoof Newsweek has created.

In this promo for The District, President Barack Obama narrates and discusses some of the challenges of moving to a new city, unsure of who he can trust, and taking on a stressful new job - the "opportunity of a lifetime" one could even say.

The District uses The City's theme song - The Pussycat Dolls' "On Top of the World” while mocking the narration of Whitney Port and the opening credits perfectly.

Check out the video below, which includes a sneak peek of the first episode, in which Barack butts heads with co-worker (U.S. Treasury Secretary) Tim Geithner...
