Naomi Crespo: The Bachelor Elimination Sucked, Was Blessing in Disguise

by at . Comments

A week after narrowly surviving elimination due to Jason Mesnick's concerns about her readiness to settle down, Naomi Crespo, 24, was sent packing from The Bachelor on Monday night's episode after a lackluster hometown visit.

"I would've moved to Seattle in a heartbeat. It sucked that the reasons that I gave him that I don't wanna go home are the reasons I'm going home," she said.

"I put myself out there, and I'm glad I did, but go figure, I finally admit that I'm falling in love and the next thing I know, I'm going home."

"I want to have a family I want my kids to have one place to call home. I really did think that it might be here I never wanted to have my heart broken again. I never wanted to feel the way I do right now," Naomi Crespo added.

The young, fun-loving flight attendant from California had plenty more to say about her ouster from The Bachelor as she tried to rationalize what happened.

"I think Jason letting me go was actually a blessing in disguise," she said.

"I am so happy now. I don't regret the experience at all. I am thankful for it. I am thankful I met [Jason Mesnick]. I am thankful I met all the girls."

"I know he and I were not meant to be so I am at peace with it."

Furthermore, Naomi feels a little defensive about her family, which some viewers describe as one of the most "interesting" the show has seen in a while.

"My mom is out there. She is quirky like that," she says.

"Sometimes I think she fell off her rocker and her head never recovered. I knew my mom had something up her sleeve. That was so beyond all of us."

Naomi didn't offer any predictions on which of the three remaining contestants - Jillian Harris, Molly Malaney and Melissa Rycroft - would win it all.

But you can. Who do you think will win The Bachelor?

The Bachelor Quotes

There’s still a lot of growing to do in our relationship. We will not tie the knot until I am mentally and physically prepared as well as Matt.

Shayne Lamas

It was a fairytale proposal like I’ve always dreamed about. I forgot that there [were] cameras around. In that moment, it was just Matt and I and it was the most amazing moment of my entire life.
