The smiling lesbians attended an opening bash for hairstylist Andy LeCompte's West Hollywood salon. Lindsay Lohan even filled in briefly for Samantha Ronson behind the turntables – and played her own song, "Bossy," for the crowd.

It was a bit of an ironic choice, as Sam clearly wears the pants in this relationship, but hey, whatever works and makes LiLo happy is all good by us.

In recent weeks, Lindsay spoke out against the constant criticism and rumors surrounding the couple. But a simple smile may be the best defense of all.
