If you talk to Jesse next time, please let her know that I thought she did a fine job on AI. She seemed totally comfortable with herself, even though being more experience & self-assured may have come across as arrogant. I didn't think so. I wish she was picked before Adam, but I am now hoping she will come back as a wild card. I also read some article somewhere that the writer mentioned that Jesse was not very nice to him (or her). Here's my take on this; what should she have done? should she offer to wipe the writer's arse while she was talking to him (or her)? Some people just always have to come up with something so negative. It's ridiculous! Jesse, if you are reading this & if you are coming back as a wild card, and Randy wants to hear your range, please do these songs, HE IS BEAUTIFUL TO ME & CRY by Crystal Gayle. I know these probably are your typical song choice, but trust me, you can show Randy what you can do with these song. But if you want some

I know Jess very well, and I can tell you she is a person who has had to overcome some very difficult things in her life, and has worked hard to turn her life around, especially since the time of the DUI. I don't care who you are or who you know, everyone suffers in life. I love her to pieces despite the fact she's not "perfect," like, apparently, "Ish" and Cait are. God uses our weaknesses sometimes more than our strengths. She did a great job, and will learn from this experience, no matter what the outcome is.

Yep, she did it! I'll be honest, I was pulling for her because I'm a huge Jonny Lang fan but she proved the talent runs in the family. I loved her voice and agree w/kimbermn222 she sounded great singing Betty Davis Eyes. I totally want to hear more!!!

I think it is so cruel and inhumane to point out and publicize personal things about someones life, especially their past that is none of anybody's freakin business. It makes me sick. I thought she rocked 'Betty Davis Eyes' and I didn't even know who her brother was until I read this. I hope she does really well and that people just leave her alone about that crap (including her brother).
Good luck Jesse

I am pulling for Jesse. I remember seeing Johnny playing in the local Fargo, ND establishments when he was 14 and known as Kid Johnny Lang. His band, Bad Medicine ROCKED. Jesse rocks as well. By Johnny's standards she is a late bloomer, but I am hopeful she will continue to use her life experiences to expand her music.
Go Jesse go!!

There will always be some people out there who are ready to put someone down for trying to make something out of herself. I don't know Jesse personally, but crazy about her brother's music. If she has half of the talent of her brother, we are going to be in for a great show. I will give her a chance to prove herself. So what, if she make mistakes in her life? It's part of learning and moving forward. No one dies because of her, so stop trashing her for no good reason. I'll be looking forward to hear you sing, Jesse. Give it your best shot!!!

NP: You knew Jonny? Lucky :(
If Jesse has any fraction of Jonny's musical talent, she has final 4 in the bag.

I, too, knew Jesse in her high school years through her brother. Don't you think you are being a little harsh, "Ish"?

I went to school with her, she is so desperate to become her brother ("Johnny Lang") it's sad. She's a waste. It's sad to see the trash that has progressed from Roseville High School.

I congradulate Jessse on trying to make something of her life and not rely on the easy path of letting here family do it for her. Sure, she could've taken the easy way and followed on her brothers coat tails, but no. She is doing it on her own and will make mistakes a long the way as we ALL do.
Unfortuantly it is human nature for some to find fault in everyone other than themselves and ride it as long as it will continue to take attention of of themselves.
You go Jesse and you have a lot of us pulling for you. You've got it and we know it.

Wow,
the hate, jealousy and utter ignorance of “The Cait Types” speaks volumes…..
Cait, that self-rightous monkey you have clinging to your back must be one enormous obligation.
Congratulations Jesse!
I don't know you but I like to see people succeed.

I am in agreement with Hana H. Jesse we will be voting for you. Jesse like many have made mistakes but is there anyone out there who hasn't. TMZ those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. If your lives were so meaningful you would find a better use of your talents then using them to bring more guilt to others who are already suffering enough with themselves over badly judged decisions.
Jesse you bring it on girl, you are talented in your own right. Godd luck

If you think about it, you can find dirt on ANYBODY. So... she made a mistake years ago and one that 1/7 of the population between the ages of 20 and 30 statistically has made as well. Give her a break and go find some real "dirt" TMZ. I'm rooting for her. I'm also proud of her for NOT using her connections in the music business and trying to accomplish a goal on her own! Minneapolis is cheering you on Jkat!

Quite honestly, I don’t know why she is still on the show! American Idol kicked Joanna Pacitti off for being “Connected to people” and having previous record deals! This Jesse chick had not had that, but she has been in enough trouble and she knows people who could possibly help her in the music business!
I thought American Idol was for “No Buddies” yet this year, there is not many of those people!
