Barack Obama and wife Michelle shared their first dance as President and First Lady to Beyonce's rendition of "At Last," made famous by Etta James.

"You guys know your president, right? You know the one with the big ears? Wait a minute, he ain't my president, he might be yours, he ain't my president," James told fans during a concert in Seattle last week.

The singer then zeroed in on Beyonce:
"You know that woman he had singing for him, singing my song - she's gonna get her a-- whipped. The great Beyonce...But I can't stand Beyonce. She has no business up there, singing up there on a big ol' president day...singing my song that I've been singing forever."

Etta James is a great singer, but she should go back to the nursing home from which she came. Older singers should support up and coming singers, but she so jealous she was not asked to sing the song, so she has to say nasty things about Beyonce.

I, for one, am glad to know I'm not the only one who can't stand Beyonce. I watched one movie with her in it and she always looked like a deer in headlights and sounded like she was reading her lines off of a prompter. Her music is weird and reminds me of finger nails on a chalk board. And what is this Sasha Fierce junk. Who is she, Eminem?

OMG! We finally get a great Black President! Beyonce is a beautiful and classy singer and did an outstanding job with Etta James song! Etta James should be thankful anyone remembers her old ass! She's a bitter bitch! I personally feel Etta James needs to get a grip and needs to apologize for her stupid remarks! She is a hot mess! Beyonce you are so awesome lady keep doing your damn thang!

Who is Etta James anyway? Lol Beyonce is a beautiful, talented singer and she is the perfect role model for anyone!! I don't understand how anyone can say a bad word about her. She is one of my idols and her version of the song was amazing!! I think this Etta James person has had her day and wants some of the fame back because now everyone is paying attention the the new girl singing it.
