Charles Barkley: First Round Prison Pick-Up Game Pick!

Some Arizona prison pick-up game squad is about to get a new starting power forward.

Former NBA star and current television analyst Charles Barkley is headed to jail. He pleaded guilty yesterday to charges of drunk driving, stemming from a December arrest.

Unlike calls in the paint during his playing days, Charles Barkley did not argue with the court ruling on his drunk driving arrest.

According to Scottsdale court records, Sir Charles will begin a five-day jail sentence on March 21. He'll also pay $2,000 in fines and attend an alcohol treatment program.

Barkley was cited by police on December 31, following an evening at a Scottsdale nightclub. He was arrested after failing a field sobriety test and had a blood-alcohol level of .149 percent, nearly twice the legal limit.

It was a major mistake on Barkley's part, and he's paying the consequences. But, hey, at least he didn't murder innocent dogs with his bare hands.
