Train wreck singer Amy Winehouse has just been released from the hospital in St. Lucia after being stricken yesterday by a mysterious ailment... the kind caused by the whole "drinking heavily while battling drug addiction" syndrome thing.

The Wino was treated in hospital this weekend after reportedly collapsing in a “shaking mess.” She was admitted to hospital in St. Lucia on Saturday.

Her spokesperson has said that Winehouse ran out of a prescribed drug used to combat withdrawal from crack and heroine. Several newspapers have also claimed that Amy was drinking heavily at the time of the collapse. Always good.

Phew. It's good to see that Amy is out of the hospital, never to return. Er, until the next time she overdoses on drugs or just feels like making headlines.

Hopefully she just sticks to smoking weed 10 times a day now.
