The Jonas Brothers aren't the only young stars receiving their own TV show this year.

Demi Lovato is set to take center stage on new Disney Channel sitcom Sonny with a Chance.

The series will focus on the singer in the role of Sonny Munroe, as she moves from the Midwest to California in order to star on her favorite sketch comedy show.

Sonny with a Chance debuts on February 8 and also stars Sterling Knight, Tiffany Thornton and Brandon Smith. Check out a preview for it now:

There may be no way to improve Tara Reid's acting ability.

But friends and family members say the treatment program this troubled actress is undergoing has already improved her outlook on life.

"She's doing well. The whole family is very positive about this being the new beginning for her," a source told People Magazine.

The American Pie star checked herself in to Promises Treatment Center in early December; those close to the actress are optimistic about her future.

"They are taking steps to do everything they can to help Tara keep on the right track," said the source, adding that Reid is expected to check out of the center any week now.

According to reports, there's a conflict between the Bahamas PD and John Travolta's camp regarding the time line of Jett Travolta's tragic death.

People who are with John are bristling at the suggestion Jett Travolta might have been left unattended for more than 10 hours, but this morning cops say they are sticking to their story, which they believe indicates as much.

Jett Travolta suffered from seizures in the past and had taken anti-seizure medicine which the Travoltas say did not work, so it was stopped.

As for the timeline, Jett, his family and his two nannies had been boating on January 1. They returned to their townhouse at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel at around 6 p.m.

Jett was tired, and went into his bedroom to sleep.

Nanny Jeff Kathrein watched TV in the adjoining room. The other nanny, Eli, returned to the family's townhouse at around 11:30 p.m.

Both Jeff and Eli turned in at around that time. After Jeff got up, he went into the bathroom and discovered Jett Travolta laying on the floor.

As for when Jett was last seen, cops say it was the at around 11:30 p.m. the night of January 1, when he went to use the bathroom.

Michael McDermott, John Travolta's lawyer and close friend, says that Eli or Jeff may have gone into that bathroom during the middle of the night, and therefore, the time frame therefore have likely been compressed.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff are prepared to entertain friends with the greatest first dance in wedding history.

Indeed, this pair of Dancing with the Stars professionals is set to get married!

The engagement took place just prior to midnight on New Year's Eve, as E! Online reports that Chmerkovsky sealed the deal with a Harry Winston number.

Smirnoff and Chmerkovskiy began dating soon after Karina ended a two-year relationship with Mario Lopez.

NOTE: It's just Milo Ventimiglia shirtless. Hayden Panettiere, while present, was in fact wearing a shirt - a long-sleeved one at that, even more disappointingly.

Believe us, we wish we could've delivered topless pics of both of the Heroes stars simultaneously. Maybe someday. But one will have to do for now. Sorry.

Khloe Kardashian has konfirmed the rumors: she's dating pro basketball player Rashad McCants.

She recently penned the following entry on her blog:

I do "officially" have a boyfriend.  His name is Rashad McCants and he plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves… I wasn't sure where the relationship was going to go.  In the very beginning of it all, I felt it was the right thing to do to keep it to myself because I didn't want to force whatever this was, or make it into something bigger if it wasn't.

Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of actor John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston, has died during a family vacation.

The family's attorney, Michael Ossi, confirmed his tragic death late Friday afternoon, telling news outlets that the young man suffered a fatal seizure at the Travolta clan's home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.

Efforts were made to revive Jett Travolta, but he died at the scene.

Jett Travolta had a history of seizures from a young age. Preston said her son suffered from Kawasaki disease, which can lead to heart problems for some children.

The teenager was the couple's oldest child. They also have a daughter, Ella Blue, who is eight years old, and was born in 2000. May Jett rest in peace.
