Kim Kardashian starred alongside Carmen Electra in last year’s Disaster Movie.

The film’s title proved to be apt, as the comedy earned less critical praise than money at the box office.

Now, the flick has been nominated for the Razzie Award of Worst Picture, while Kim has been nominated as Worst Supporting Actress (the ceremony honors the worst in cinema). Fortunately, she’s taking the news well.

The home movie career of Kim Kardashian has been more lucrative than her attempts at big screen stardom.

“I’m having a really good laugh,” she wrote on her blog. “I had so much fun filming Disaster Movie and giggled the entire time during the shoot… There is steep competition in my ‘worst supporting actress’ category, I have to admit … including my fantastic co-star Carmen Electra (you go girl!) Leelee Sobieski (what a surprise!), Jenny McCarthy (really?) and Paris Hilton (who could technically sweep this year’s awards with a whopping three nominations).”

Kardashian ends her post with an emphatic: “LOL!”

But is she really masking the pain with an attempt at humor?
