Chad Lowe and Kim Painter: Expecting!

Move over, Elisabeth Hasselbeck. You're not the only one with joyous pregnancy news to report on this 29th of January.

Chad Lowe is going to be a dad. The mother? Kim Painter.

"Kim Painter and Chad Lowe announced today that they are expecting a baby in early summer," his rep said. "The couple is overjoyed and could not be happier."

Lowe, 41, and Painter, a producer, first began seeing each other in 2007. Chad split from actress Hilary Swank in 2006 after spending many years together.

The less-famous brother of Rob Lowe, Chad won an Emmy back in the day for Life Goes On and has had roles on ER, Melrose Place, Now and Again and 24.
