I think this year looks like it will be a tremendous season. I was very impressed by the first group to sing - especially our local guy - Matt G - although they did such a terrific job together. I hope all four of them make it, but I don't know the names of the other three. I also really like Danny G. There was a young girl that wrote her own song for her audition that I found to be impressive but I don't recall her name either. I can't wait until next week!

I have to say that Anoop Desai*, Adam Lambert*, and Matt Giraud* are by far the most outstanding of the guys.
I'm still surprised that Danny Gokey's friend Jamar Rogers didnt make the cut :/.
Others to also keep an eye on would be, under the radar, Stephen Fowler and Jorge Nunez.
Can't wait for next weeks installment!!! :)

Well if the info is correct about Mishavonna Henson is true,,she is very talented I seen her youtube video, she is a force to be reconed with, She is amazing, nice, wholesome, and down to earth, I wish her all the best If she makes it she would make a great AMERICAN IDOL & is very appealing to all ages.

I really wanted to see more of the audition of Kendall Beard from Texas. Not only is she gorgeous but...left me wanting to hear more. I think she is definitely in the top 12...very meaningful, soulful and polished singing. She seems to sing from her heart. Can't wait to hear more!

Hi Rianne, the one you are referring to is Matt Giraud. He is from Kalamazoo, MI, our hometown guy. We're really hoping he makes it far.

after seeing all the auditions, their is a lot of talent and a lot of pro-singers - not sure if professional singers are what i want on the show. I did notice the young girl Stevie Wright, i think she will for sure make the top 12

I don't think we can say that Adam Lambert is overrated. He has experience as a singer. He has been on Broadway so he is no stranger to working on a stage and with a cast. I think he has everything needed to make it big on a show like Idol. But you know what they: it's all a matter of taste. To some of us, he is the best yet, and to some others he is just ok. And that's quite allright. It would be boring if we all thought the same.

My favorite is most definately Adam Lambert. He is very versatile and has, I think, everything needed to make it all the way to the top 2.
