Twelve fans? You must be devoted to NASCAR then...Sean Avery isn't "notorious" he is a minor player on an inconsequential team and doesn't even deserve the time or attention he's getting here or anywhere else in the media, let alone his hockey "career".

Sean Avery SUMMONED the media to make that comment. He deserves what he got...and yes, the writer of this article has no idea what they are talking about. If the guy wasn't making tons of money as a hockey player, he'd probably be in jail. He has serious issues.

Couldn't have said it better about the author of this article. It "sucks". She is probably one of Avery's sloppy seconds.

come to philly and say that! I dare you...

    Well Said Misty!

As for Avery, I can't stand him. He is bad for the sport. I hope they come down hard on him!

My only comment to this is:

Before bashing an entire sport (as well as the fans who watch and the players in it), do some minor reasearch into the history of that sport in an attempt to understand WHY they have the rules that they do. Otherwise...the article in of itself will simply..."suck".

"...serious, punch-the-hell-out-of-the-other-guy fights - with only five-minute penalties assessed to the participants."

Really? The above statement only proves the author has no clue about the sport. There ARE "game misconducts" that are issued, as well as SUSPENSIONS.

Seriously, the author should stick to writing fluff about Hollywood has-beens 'cause apparently, that's all the author's mental acuity can handle.
