Proving that maybe they aren't always the worst people on earth, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt volunteered at The Los Angeles Mission on Christmas Eve.

Of course, they did sort of make out right in front of his Nana, who fans of The Hills surely remember. This pic sums up Speidi much better than words can...

There's nothing like giving back to the less fortunate during the holidays ... and sucking face for celebrity gossip photographers while your grandmother looks on.

The Los Angeles Mission, a nonprofit organization Speidi volunteers with regularly, served up meals to the less fortunate residents of the city's downtown area.

A couple of girls from Australia won a contest to be flown to Japan and meet Britney Spears. Lucky. There's a video of their meeting on Britney's official website.

Fortunately, there were no pants involved. Just kidding. There totally were. Or at least underwear. Probably anyway. Everyone seemed to have a delightful time.

Their Australian accents are a joy to hear, as they always are, and one of the fans even bears a slight resemblance to Britney's little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears!

Paris Hilton spent Christmas in Aspen, Colorado with her sister, her sister's boyfriend and her fake new BFF, Brittany Flickinger.

The quartet hung out downtown, posed for pictures, shopped and grabbed lunch at a local diner. Just like any big, happy, fake family would.

Spencer Pratt's sister Stephanie is a cute enough girl, and seems to be nice enough (at least by The Hills' relative standards), albeit a little meddling and pathetic.

But Stephanie Pratt is still the sister of Spencer. We can't decide if she's hot or not, but imagine this fact alone would have to be a deal-breaker for plenty of guys.

The Lakers are the hottest ticket in L.A. - at least when the happen to be playing the World Champions. Yesterday, the heated Lakers-Boston Celtics rivalry resumed and numerous stars ventured to the Staples Center to take in the action.

The exploitive mother, who received criticism for featuring daughters Lola and Sam on a reality show, took her children ice skating in Santa Monica earlier this week.

While her kids were shy around celebrity gossip photographers, Richards ate up the attention (while, we assume, cursing ex-husband Charlie Sheen under her breath)...
