I was a supporter from the start! I have to say, I am beyond thrilled that Barack Obama was elected and I am looking forward to witnessing all of the historic change that his Presidency promises!

The election wasn't all thrills for me, however. I have been holding my breath today, hoping that California's Prop 8 (which bans gay marriage) would not pass. But, unfortunately it has. I hear it is being challenged in the courts by civil rights groups and I’m hopeful our legal system will find Prop 8 unjust.
