Why are kids so mean?

It's a question that Demi Lovato and Ellen DeGeneres tackle later today, when the former appears on the latter's talk show. During the taping, the Disney singer/actress opened up about how much bullying she endured in 7th grade; so much so that home-schooling became a necessity.

"I never really understood why [I was being bullied] until looking back," Lovato said, eventually realizing that her choice to become an actress made her a target "I had a different lifestyle then everyone else."

Demi Lovato has at least gotten the last laugh on those that use to bully her in school.

The Camp Rock star is now planning to use her celebrity in order to assist others.

"I want to help with bullying," she said. "Because there are girls who can't just up and home-school and focus on their career."

It's nice to see Amy Winehouse covered in something besides blood.

Lauren Conrad, by contrast, is almost always looking lovely. But here we have the two celebrities wearing the exact same thing! Who would have guessed?

The troubled songstress performed at the Brit Awards in London in the sexy D&G dress, while The Hills star rocked it at an N.Y.C. party a few months later...

High School Musical fans in Paris not only got to meet and greet the members of this franchise's cast earlier in the week, but High School Musical 3: Senior Year will premiere two days earlier in Europe than in the United States.

Continuing her whirlwind tour of New York City, Britney Spears was spotted at a showing of the Tony award-winning Broadway musical In The Heights at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Tuesday night. She was smiling ear to ear!

Oh, and the 26-year-old pop star looked pretty darn good in a snug black mini-dress. Maybe not late 1990s hot, but pretty stunning. Check her out:

Britney is in New York doing press for her new album Circus which is scheduled for release December 2 (her 27nd birthday). The first single is "Womanizer."

Kim Kardashian, a celebrity gossip favorite, was voted off Dancing with the Stars last night.

The elimination was a slight upset, considering that two couples had scored lower than Kim and partner Mark Ballas this week, but the sex tape star never really looked comfortable on the dance floor.

The ousting came on the fifth anniversary of Kardashian's father's death, and the star handled the news with class: "I just know he's really happy and watching over me and I know he's really proud," she said.

At least Kim Kardashian has a reality TV career to fall back on.

Khloe Kardashian was on hand to support her sister and said:

"I am so proud of how hard Kim has worked! She has completely gone out of her comfort zone by doing Dancing with the Stars and I am so happy she did. She made the show in my opinion!"
