Melissa Etheridge, Tammy Lynn Michaels to Get Married

Following in the footsteps of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Melissa Etheridge and longtime partner Tammy Lynn Michaels are planning to marry.

"Yes, we have four children and we're trying to find the right time," the singer, 47, and her partner, 33, told celebrity gossip TV program Extra.

Etheridge and Michaels first exchanged vows in Malibu in 2003. Now that gay marriage is legalized in California, the couple will make it official.

In 2006, they welcomed twins Miller Steven and Johnnie Rose. Etheridge has two children from a prior relationship with Julie Cypher: daughter Bailey Jean and son Beckett. Their biological father is rock legend David Crosby.
