In the latest issue of Teen Vogue, Zac Efron comes close to whining about fame. Always a dangerous line for a celebrity to cross.

"You don't realize until it's gone, but it is so important to feel normal," the actor said. "I'm growing up under a magnifying glass, and I just try to rise above it and live my life."

Fortuately, Efron does catch himself and adds: "I'm not going to complain. But it's something I'm learning to cope with."

Of course, no current interview with Efron would be complete without questions about next month's big screen release, High School Musical 3: Senior Year. The young stud muffin hinted at what the film will offer his character, Troy Bolton.

"The stakes are higher because there are real decisions to be made. What college are you going to? What happens to the girl? It's fun watching Troy grow into a man!"

Fans will get a chance to see just how much fun when High School Musical 3 comes out on October 24.
