Lindsay Lohan, Pink: Latest Celebrities to Bash Sarah Palin
by Hilton Hater at .It's safe to assume Lindsay Lohan and Pink were big fans of Tina Fey's Sarah Palin impression. Who wouldn't be?
But count these two celebrities as the latest stars to come out against the Republican nominee for Vice President. Lohan, sounding more grounded by the day, said about Palin:
"I feel it's necessary for me to clarify that I am not against Sarah Palin as a mother or woman.... I would have liked to have remained impartial, however I am afraid that the 'lipstick on a pig' comments will overshadow the issues and the fact that I believe Barack Obama is the best choice, in this election, for president..."
Lohan, who is in a same-sex relationship with Samantha Ronson, went on to question Palin's views on homosexuality:
"Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock? Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?"
Pink, meanwhile, was more biting and direct in her Sarah Palin commentary:
"She is not the woman that's going to come behind Hillary Clinton and do anything that Hillary Clinton would've been capable of … I can't imagine overturning Roe vs. Wade. She's not of this time. The woman terrifies me."
Do celebrities' voices carry more weight than the average citizen? Of course not. But it's nice to hear that this election has inspired so many to take a look at the issues involved.
We'd love to hear from readers on this topic. Who are you supporting and why?

For all those who think been gay is a sin then be ashamed. people should take note of the real siners of the world like rapists, murders child abuses etc. i am gay and very proud to be, if my child comes to me and says "mum i think im gay" i would encourage this not turn him or her away in discust. people cant help who they fall in love with and shouldn't have to feel ashamed as of what sex they are. and for all those who think god is such a great creator then bless you, if he was he wouldn't have created the real sinners of the world. people shouldn't jugde others unless they dont want to be jugded.
I AGREE WITH GUY-- THE HISTORICAL PROOF IS THAT UNFORTUNATELY THAT OUR COUNTRY IS IN HUGE MORAL DECLINE. WE KNOW ALL ABOUT THE DECADENCE OF ROME AND IT LED TO THEIR DOWNFALL. WE NEED TO ULTIMATELY SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT WHO REPRESENTS THE BEST VAUES THAT AMERICANS POSSESS AND THAT IS JOHN MC CAIN NOT OBAMA
My only issue with celebrities and their political views is that I don't care how they vote or what they think of the candidates. I have conversations with friends about politics and get told I need to be quiet and let people choose themselves. So hey LINDSAY...be quiet and let people choose themselves! As for my opinion, we need to realize that this is our country and we need to find the best person to run it. Do we want someone who is pretty much a celebrity himself, with little to no experience and feels our troops have been making "mistakes" this whole time (meaning the deaths of those soldiers was a mistake)? Or do we want someone who loves this country as much as we do, who has been a soldier and knows what their families go through, who has been in politics since before I was born? I'm sorry, I have to go with McCain!
If Sarah Palin is such a great role model, why isn't she focusing on taking care of her Down Syndrome baby? That's what she should be doing for the next four years, not aspiring to a job she knows is beyond her abilities.
