Elisabeth should leave, but not because of her views. She should leave because spoke about Michelle Obama's list of off limits topics at the RNC luncheon for Cindy McCain. She has the integrity and professionalism of a snake. It would serve Barbara Walters right if the Obamas refused to come back to the View. Maybe then BW will grow some testicular fortitude and fire EH.

Please America needs more smarts tv people who educate the views about peace. I have enough .... tired of this WAR. I know that expressing your own view is good, but if it's too much than it won't get a very good results. As a "democratic" ... please .. show it that you're a democtratic and liberal..... Listen, open, respect to others even the people who are not so liberal.

The View needs at least one "republican" and/or "conservative" perspective. Having said that I think Elisabeth Hasselbeck should leave the show and be replaced by a far more intelligent and experienced individual with this type of leaning. Elisabeth is far too immature and inexperienced in life and that comes across in her body language, communication style, and child like behavior when confronted about her opinion. She gets beat up by the other ladies because she doesn't appear to have an independent thought of her own and merely regurgitates things that are said on Fox and by the McCain camp. When you regurgitate others "talking points" you are unable to explain the rationale behind them which then makes you seem foolish. The View needs a conservative that can hold her own against the liberals!

You can tell that elizabeth wants to get to Fix, oops Fox Network with all the other loose woman...elizabeth makes sure her dresses are all the way up for the camera...that's what most of the females do on Fox Network,,pimpin yourselves, elizabeth is racist and very slutish... a lady, a christian lady does not sit like that...elizabeth, command respect for your thoughts, views, etc, not your upper thighs, better stay at on the view,,,tooo much competion on Fox.

I would hate to see Elisabeth leave the view only because the show will become the "liberal Democratic" hour.
No question that Barbara Walters has dropped the thin veneer of objectivity that she has held up for so long. Like Ophra, she's come out of the closet in this election year.
I'm surprised that Whoopi is joining the discussions on Joy's side because she, at least, started out as pretty neutral.
Joy Behar is a bitter, venom-spewing troll.
Sherri is just amazing in that someone so... dumb... can get a gig on national television.
Thank goodness Ellen comes on at the same time here.

I watch the view alost daily to see what these "ladies" have to say. I agree with most of Elisabeth's views and really feel for her because the others completely dismiss what she has to say. Whoopi looks down on Elisabeth with that "don't be racial look." Barbara keeps tapping her hand to let her know she should "shut up." Joy just brushes her aside with her hand and her venom look. Sherri agrees with her some times but if she does not agree she raises her voice to show how she feels. Elisabeth is always nice to the others - she always listens to what they say and trys to respond. Joy states so many things that are not true about John McCain and Sarah Palin. She really needs to check her facts - in fact they all should because they state a lot of mistruths. It is their responsibility to at least make sure what they say is true. I wish she would leave, her and Barbara both. ha ha. Too bad it's her show. In my home we call them the HENS. Although I do agree they tore apart McCain. He deserved it. He can't answer a question relevant or not!

Elisabeth should leave and let the show go down in flames. It should be called old nags view now. Sherri is fair like Elisabeth but Joy the hack , Whoopi the was once and Baba depends are old nags. Baba has made herself irrelevant with her goat herding mentality and back stabbing. Hopefully Sherri learned from Star that Baba will have your back, to your face that is, but when she talks to real people in her class she tells it like it is, shes a racist and I now believe fully what Donald Trump said about her now and the things he quoted were dead on accurate. Please leave and go to Fox where they deserve her. There are more important topics that need to be discussed, and she is a "waste" of our energy or what is "left" of it. I am "abstaining" from watching the View with her on it.

I believe Elisabeth should stay. Everybody has their own opinion. Whoopi tries to calm everybody down to let everybody speak. That is the only problem I have with the show is I have to close my eyes to sort of understand what they are saying because they all talk at one time. Everybody should have 2 minutes to remark on a question.

I won't watch anymore if she leaves. The view is supposed to be a show with women with different "Views". I feel Elizabeth does get pushed around by the other ladies because they don't care for her opinions but this is what makes this show interesting. Its gettig to a point where they should just change the name of the show to "Whoopie & Joy Show".

I still love to watch the view- this is a sample of free speech using opinions. As I watch Elizabeth, I really admire her for standing up for what she believes in, I think anyone in her position would be struggling. Meaning her youth, the fact that she have not had the life experienes and challenges as the other women on the view. I feel that you are growing to be a dynamite women by learning from these women. I'm not saying listen to your elder but listen to the experiences, I think that is your weak area. I agree that the other women is a tough group, but wisdom, experiences in the spotlight, financially, and seeing change over the years in each of your generations is what makes the show dynamic. As I read the blogs I just keep reading the same ole same ole-between the lines, women cannot agree to disagree. Elizabeth, you are a bright young women, this a challenge to your person, now it is time to find tuffer skin.

after seeing how those ignorant women treat john mcCain with such venum pouring from their tongue and then kissing up to obama like he was KING, that was it!! i thought barbara was more intelligent than that, and of course joy, that was no surprise of her ignorance! wish cindy would have gone on stage and thanked the disgusting women for having her husband on the show and both walked off! that is the worst show to ever go on, esp. if you just happen to have a different "view" of those shallow, ignorant, disgusting, pathetic women who think they are funny!

I would like Elizabeth to stay, however she is very judgemental regarding certain subject. I take this due to her age. She need to walk in someone else's shoe first. She has not experience live at all. She went from high school to college then a reality show, marriage then the view. She has not done a 9 to 5 job like most of America. She need to think before she response to certain subject matters.

I would rather see Joy leave. She is so narrow minded and unless you think like she does, she shuts you out.
I think Elizabeth rounds out the table at the View. She stands up for what she believes and I agree with her. But I'm sure it's hard to defend yourself ALL THE TIME....not much fun for her or those watching.
If Elizabeth leaves the View, it's their loss and our loss. I'd love to see her have her own talk show. I think she'd be great at it. She'd bring in guests who can stand up for what they believe in even if it's not what's popular.

I don't care if they celebrate Barack what I do have a problem is when a "unbiased" member makes a negative comment about another candidate. She has her head so far up Cindy McCain's ass that she can't think straight. Time for her to go, hell maybe the republican campaign can give her a job they seem to be handing them out to unqualified people. She will fit in with Sarah Palin.

I would leave if I were in her position. Of course she is the only reason I watch the show. She stands up for what she believes. It appears that to be in good standing you must have the view of Barbara and Joy. Now it would be a great move to rid the show of Joy and Barbara.
