Wow! I am so troubled by the divide that is being created/fueled by the media regarding this election! Whether you are a Democrat or Republican, most of us fall somewhere close to the middle and are moderate in our opinions. Anyone with half a brain - and any sense of maturity - sees that there are pros and cons to every situation, and every issue at hand. As far as Elizabeth staying or going, I applaud her for her strength in being able to tolerate both Rosie and now the rest of the panel for so long. God help our country.

I find it difficult to watch political discussions on the show. Whoopi not only interupts Elizabeth, but rolls her eyes any time Elizabeth starts talking. It's so unprofessional. When Elizabeth gets frustrated, she does come off as narrow minded, but I agree with some of what she says. I'm pro choice, so I'm on the edge of both political points of view.

I am very happy Eisabeth is leaving that show. She could hardly ever speak because if it wasn't the mouths of Joyce and Whoopi you would never hear her. Who I feel sorry for is Sherry. Either they are going to sway her over to their same way of thinking constantly or she will become another Elisabeth and completely be over taken. I stopped watching that show a while back because it gave me a headache listeneing to them all trying to talk over each other. And Barbara Walters is hard to understand what she is saying. It sounds like she has marbles in her mouth.

I stopped watching The View shortly after she came aboard. I just couldn't stand her narrow-mindedness and couldn't listen to her anymore!

Elizabeth does represent the other side of the coin, so to speak; however, her biggest problem is she so often either mis-quotes or doesn't have her facts straight. When she is challenged, she still defends those mis-statements.
At times she is like a little child who is going to have its say no matter what and while they often interupt each other, she is the worst.
More often than not her youth and worldy inexperience gets in the way. It makes her appear dumb and naive.
She makes the perfect case for the phrase "think before you speak."

Elisabeth is an important role on The View. I feel like she brings a good balance. I do not agree with all that she says, I do not agree with all of the things anyone says. I think that Elisabeth stands up for her belief's and if the rest of the panel doesn't like it, too bad. They have their opinions and she has hers. The point of the show is different Views on things. Elisabeth is not a baby and she is not crying "victim" in any of these situations. I believe this is all a hype from the media because the show would not be as entertaining without her and I think she knows that. It would be nice if the panel did not jump down her throat all the time (Joy) and let the woman finish her sentence!

I hope she leaves and is replaced with a women her age that can hold her own, without overtalking someone because she disagrees. It is o.k. to agree to disagree. John McCain was asked questions by the View that other americans wanted to ask but cant get upclose and personal to ask him about the his ads that tell lies and he approved; where he stands on certain issues and about Sarah Palin. It seems he and Sarah have much to hide. If you can't answer questions of ordinatry citizens then you should'nt be elected to run a country.

Elisabeth is my favorite on the show. Joy and Whoppi are big adult bullies. Whenever Elisabeth talks Joy and Whoppie ridcule her and make condescending remarks. They can reduce anyone to tears - I don't blame Elisabeth for leaving. it's been very difficult to watch the show with all that going on. Many of the morals and values we have believed in and taught to our children are not shared by Joy and Whippi. Many of my friends and sisters have stopped watching. It's all very sad.

I really do hope Elisabeth leaves. She does not make or break 'The View'. I really like watching this program. There are a lot of times I just can't stomach the words that come out of her mouth. Everyone has an opinion, but I am REALLY getting tired of being subjected to her close minded, 'back in the old day' beliefs. I don't want to stop watching 'The View' because of one lady. She is not the said all, be all. It is good to have debates and get people talking, but I think it is time for her to leave. She wants to have the last word, and thinks everyone should have her same belief system and act so offended if someone have a different 'View'. This is America, and we don't all have to be the same, but Elisabeth it is time for you to move on and do something else. No matter what job you do, if you start to make things into a bigger deal than what they are, and then just try to stir up trouble ever which way you turn then it is time to GO!

I think Elisabeth should go. She interrupts everyone and has blinders on re: the Republicans. Doesn't she know what this country has been going thru the last 8 yrs.? She needs to watch Letterman and the Presidential Moments. The best on this show is Whoopie; she's intelligent, sensible, honest and knows what's going on. Joy is a typical Italian; you go girl....I agree with almost everything she says. Sherri is phony. She plays up her holiness and innocence but sure shows off that oversize bustline and the short dresses. I liked her role on E.L. Raymond but I've got a different opinion of her now. Barbara is the glue that holds the show together.

"The View" is so one-sided now, it's sad. It's no longer different viewpoints, because you have four ulllltra-liberal Democrats against one Republican. There is no balance on that show. Frequently, four gang up on Elizabeth unmercifully...Whoopi is masterful at literally drowning her out (or quickly changing the subject), helped by Joy and third by Sherri. Friday, when Elizabeth began to speak about Obama's friendships/relationships with Bill Ayers and Antoin "Tony" Rezco, they almost rose out of their chairs screaming to drown her out. It was ugly. Whenever she says something they don't want to hear, or don't want said to the general public, they scream her down. Friday, after the three overpowered Elizabeth's voice to quiet her, Sherri was cheered by Joy for making an anti-McCain point. They are like pit-bulls against her.
