Whether she goes or stays, she has got to develop basic social skills, like not talking over others constantly. Like being so anxious to get her point across that she prevents others from stating theirs. What she really needs is maturity and the understanding that everyone has the right to vote and worship as they choose. She gets far too rabid when it comes to defending republican issues that occurred before she was born. She is very attractive, but she gained her fame far to rapidly and now she believes she is entitled to it.

I could care less, she is one of the most narrowed minded people I've ever seen.

Boy I hope she goes - there is nothing as annoying as some one who argues with someone else just to argue. She seems to constantly take the opposite view JUST to piss people off. Yeah, I know the show is about having your own view, but come on - anyone with half a brain can see that Sarah Palin is in no way Vice Presidential material, though Eizabeth needs to find some little thing to hold on to with her candidacy to have an argument that is different from the others. She does this with every debate, no matter what the subject.

This show has become so unconfortable to watch-many of you are right in saying that if you don't agree with Joy and Whoopie you might as well forget it. There is very little respect for any opinion but the democrat opinion, and that offends me because I am a republican! Though I don't think that Elisabeth is the BEST spokesperson for the party, I do give her much credit for trying to defend her views, as she is constantly attacked. I don't watch anymore, and for those of you that don't like the road it has gone down, I suggest you don't either. The best way for a show to change/end is for it to lose it's loyal fans....I am already gone.

Why is it everyone bashes EH when Sherry Shepard admitted to havinf "more abortions thanks she can count"?

October 2nd, 2008 12:12 AM
The problem with EH is that she has no thought of her own. She doesn't stand up for what she believes in, she stands up for whatever the right wing throws out there. The others take a stand against the left when they deserve it. EH tries to defend the indefensible and ends up looking stupid. I don't know if it's that she is an idiot or it's just the part that she is forced to play in order to keep conflict in the show.

So glad to see Elizabeth go! She is racist, combative in her views and immature. She has no tolerance. I have no problem with voicing your opinion but you must also have an opened mine to listen to other's opinion and views. She hates Obama and she will not admit that Palin is not best choice. Palin can't answer a question with a direct answer. Maybe Elizabeth should go work for McCain!

Elisabeth, here are some comments you should use in response to your liberal co-workers. "I respect your opinion,,,no matter how wrong you are" OR "I would agree with you, but,,,then 2 of us would be wrong". Your co-workers are ignorant and when they start to jump all over you, just sit back and just look at them and there is no need to argue with them. They think they are right and will not budge, you do the same. A McCain supporter. Your great, keep it up and please do not leave the show. Ruth Suess

Elisabeth was at very poor choice for a cohost from the beginning of her time at The View. She is extremely narrow-minded, ignorant, arrogant, uninformed, and has shown not appreciable growth in her world view. She desperately needs a voice coach to teach her to speak in a manner that is not irritating to the hears. She also needs a communication teacher, who can teach her to slow down her verbal barrage; use pauses for more effective communication; and she needs an etiquette coach to teach her the basic civilities of grown-up conversation. It is difficult to listen to her, much less take her seriously, because she DOES NOT LISTEN, interrupts constantly, and then pouts or cries when she doesn't get her way.
I was so thrilled when The View when it first aired, because I thought the cohosts would present a show that was designed for real women with real concerns. Unfortunately, the show has deteriorated to the point that it no longer provides more than drivel and gossip. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk

Wow. I'm saddened to see the low level of the comments left about this issue. Apparently calling Hasselbeck names is deemed as acceptable because it is anonymous. People who seem to say they are openminded (left-wing) are the ones with all the hate on this board.
And since when has The View become a political show? Sure, they deal with the topic of the day which of course is the election, but there is more than that going on in the world. Why are the candidates, The View or anyone else in the media highlighting the terrible circumstances that people in Texas and Louisiana are living in? For those folks down there that have no home, The View, Hasselbeck or the election are the least of their worries.

I like Elisabeth and hope she does not leave the view.I am very surprised that even Barbara Walters picks on Elisabeth instead of being a mediator. It was refreshing seeing Dianne Carroll speak up for Elisabeth on the program. Even if you leave the View, "The View" will be the loser.

Elisabeth!! Enough Already. How many idiots do you have to make yourself look like? She memorizes crap then repeats, can't you tell?
I am glad she is going to Fox, now I can watch the View again.
I stopped watching because of her narrow minded, prejudice self righteous attitude. The FOX NEWS audience will love her, she will be right at home, Elisabeth will be able to talk about Obama, Muslin's turbans, Rev Right, Michelle's hidden secrets for hours with audience approval and encouragement.
I hope she goes to Fox very soon.

Oh I forgot to add...I am 57,a Democrat and a non-Christian. I would never talk the crap some of you have. When I did write the View I mentioned I thought she could be rude, yet many comments were far rudier than she ever could be. Maybe she's not the only one who needs to grow up.

Wow! some of you people and your comments. I personally find Elizabeth annoying, immature, etc. But to attack her the way some of you do calling her a whore and a b**** is unreal. Regardless of her views this kind of talk serves no one espeically women. I also think she never let's anyone get a word in. Then the next thing you know everyone starts talking over each one. I may stop watching because of her, but she,s not a whore. Those of you with your nasty comments are the real b****es! I wrote The View to voice my point about her. Have a little dignity people!

When the show first aired it was supposed to be different women of different ages with differing views and opinions. It now seems to be only 2 views - Elisabeth's and the other 4 hosts. So many say things about Elisabeth's age and immaturity. So if someone has different opinions, they must be immature? I commend her for being so involved in the country's issues. There are too many people young and older alike who have no clue what's going on in the country or the world and don't even care. So, regardless of which side of the ticket one agrees with, it's great when people are interested.
I watch often and Elisabeth is rarely able to get a complete thought or sentence out without being interrupted and talked over, when it's something the other hosts don't agree with. Sherri is the exception. Barbara asked her today why she felt Palin is ready, and she barely got started and was loudly and rudely interrupted. The other hosts are quickly ready to argue against the reasons Elisabeth sta

I think that Elisabeth should go and be replaced by other young blood. She is way too controlling and a big show off. She dresses too showy and revealing for a conservative. I feel sorry for her hubby and kids. What a control freak! Let the girl have the binky! She needs some comfort with the new baby, school, etc.

I can't wwwwaaaaaiiiiiitttttt until that B---- leaves The View!!!! I was hoping that after she made that appearance on FOX that they would offer the dim-witt a job. Elisabeth should have quit when Rosie O'Donell left the show. She's hostile, ignorant, and has too much mouth. She's a clear winner of the "GOP Followers" Elisabeth is about as smart as that nitt-witt Sarah Palin from Alaska. They both look like "blow-up" dolls if you ask me. Elisabeth and Sarah are being manupulated by the men that they are worshipping so much --- the other dim-witt and out going President George W. and Senator John McBush!!! Good luck in her new job at rating failing FOX channel!!!

If Elisabeth stays on the view much longer, I will stop watching the show. She is so defensive all the time and never lets anyone else get a word in edge-wise. Her voice is very irritating to listen to (like nails on a chockboard) and she is not impartial on her views. Anyone else would be a better host than herself. I have been wathching the view since it's inception and really enjoy the show except when Elisabeth opens her big mouth. Please as a faithful viewer, please do something about her and soon.
