Might Elisabeth Hasselbeck be leaving The View?
While this may cause many liberals to get more excited than they are over the news that the Sarah Palin love-fest has been replaced by the Sarah Palin consternation-fest, this possibility actually saddens The Hollywood Gossip staff.
Hasselbeck admirably stands up for her conservative opinions on the talk show. There's nothing wrong with that. It makes for solid debate.
But “Elisabeth feels she can’t win at The View, but she’s been told by friends at FOX News that they’d find a spot for her without hesitation,” The National Enquirer reports. “Elisabeth is just as tired of the ladies at The View as they are of her! She feels she constantly has to defend herself."
Do you wanna see Elisabeth Hasselbeck stay or go?

She should but what the hell will she do for money with an employed garbage QB husband? She will end up begging to stay hopefully she keeps her mouth shut and stops trying to kiss republican booty.

I hope she stays, at least she stands up for her own opinions and doesn't just say what the other women want to hear...but she's probably tired of doing the show.

Dirty Bob.....How can you even suggest that elisabeth Hasselbeck kisses Republican booty!!!!....just what do you think whoopi, joy, shari and barbara are doing with Obama and the Democrats? You crack me up with your stupidity. She is never able to finish a thought with those four there, especially Whoopi Goldberg, ALWAYS interupting her and everybody else. I have noticed that Joy has been much more quiet since Hillary lost to Obama. They used to be intertaining until this political campaign, so I have not been watching now for a couple of weeks. Joy used to be funny, but now she just sits there, while Whoopi goes on and on and on and on....BORING. Barbara is not boring nor is Ellisabeth or Shari....WHOOPI AND JOY RUIN THE SHOW AND I AM ERTAINLY NOT THE ONLY ONE TO THINK THIS WAY. It is okay with me though, as I am getting much more work done around the house, and that is the truth. I just read about Elisabeth on aol and needed to speak up for I think she is a special person and Fox news, would be fortunate to have her. God bless you my Dear, as you have inside you, what they will never, never have. Shari, if you are a Christian, you do not show it my Dear in the way you speak, but I do like you and you can be hilariously funny! You do not have to talk dirty joy and Shari to be funny...Joy is always making off color remarks and Shari joins in. Is the money that good to offend God the way you two do, plus Whoopi saying she is going to hell? Better watch it Whoopi, God is listening. You used to be hilarious but now, you do not amuse me!!! I'll be happy if she leaves, she's is such a fake Christian.
Elisabeth was so supportive of President Bush, now with
all the mess he's made you don't hear her defending him much,
just like the rest of the Republicans.
I'll be happy if she goes to Fox the lying, hypocritical,
prejudice, irritating news station. She would be in good
company with the rest of the fake Christians.

While I respect All opinions ..because it is what makes the world go round...I think Elizabeth has crazy ideas that I can not understand..still they are her opinions and we all have a right to our own. As long as she does not put any of MY Democratic opinions down.
I don't really watch the view as much as I used to because the women are all phoney as far as I'm concerned.
I lost respect for all of them when they talked about James Van Praugh after he was on the show. I for one KNOW he is a REAL psychic! He has read for me and everything he said came True!
And all the women on the View were nice to his face..then on another show they talked bad behind his back! Even Whoppie..I use to love her, but now I see her as just as 2 faced as the rest of them are!
Barbara is a phoney/2 faced Snob! I agree with Joy on some things..but I find her to be very narrow minded on spiritual things.... Elizabeth..I just don't get her at all! and Sherri..I don't know about her either...
I loved Meredeth and Lisa Ling..ahhh, the good old days..LOL

Elisabeth should stay .. the format needs a "balance".
Democrat and Republican. I suppose after Sarah Palin LOSES the race, she could replace Elisabeth!!!!!!!!
As for Whoopi, she is outstanding ... never confrontational, always entertaining and wise!

The problem with Elizabeth is that she comes across as so judgematic and immature. She has a strict "right or wrong" "black or white" view of the world, that shows her youth. In the real world there are many shades to right and to wrong. I have heard so many 18 year olds who proclaim "I will absolutely never ever divorce... no matter what." And, ten years later they are on their third marraiges. Cathy Lee Gifford was like that until Frank Gifford helped her grow up quickly with an affair.
Elizabeth is like that in everything she says. So harsh, so absolute in her reasoning. I will enjoy Elizabeth after she has had some life lessons that help her realize that she needs to "walk a mile in someone's shoes before passing down absolutes of what is right and wrong." She proclaims to be Christian but has little Christian forgiveness or understanding.
It would be fantastic to have her off "The View."

I would leave if I were in her position. Of course she is the only reason I watch the show. She stands up for what she believes. It appears that to be in good standing you must have the view of Barbara and Joy. Now it would be a great move to rid the show of Joy and Barbara.
