Ganked Jamie Lynn Spears Pictures Spark Criminal Probe

Federal and local authorities are on the hunt for someone peddling 12 pics of Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears, daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge and baby daddy / fiance Casey Aldridge. And you won't believe the reason why.

One of the pictures shows Jamie Lynn Spears breast-feeding Maddie Briann - and Jamie Lynn's left breast is exposed. She is 17 years old. Got it?

The photos were taken on Casey Alridrge's digital camera. He took the camera to a local local Wal-Mart in Louisiana for copies. Law enforcement officials believe someone at the Wal-Mart made extra copies, then tried selling them.

Because Jamie Lynn Spears is a minor, selling the pics - or buying them - likely constitutes a violation of federal laws prohibiting pornography.

NOTE: Why Casey Aldridge feels the need to photograph this is another unanswered question, but whatever floats your boat. It's his business.

Peddling celebrity pictures of a minor's breasts - even if the intent is not for sexual purposes - could land both the seller and the buyer in federal prison if said pics are marketed across state lines for the purpose of being lurid.

Furthermore, anyone purchasing the lewd pictures could end up being prosecuted for the crime of receiving stolen property.

Authorities are trying to find the man attempting to sell the photos. In addition, Britney's lawyers are considering going after Wal-Mart for the security breach.
