One of the nation's foremost celebrity news and gossip magazines, Us Weekly, is under siege over its current cover story, which features Republican V.P. candidate Sarah Palin and the headline "Babies, Lies & Scandal."
The weekly celeb gossip tabloid, which recently ran a cover story on Barack Obama and "why he loves" his wife Michelle, is being furiously attacked by supporters of Sarah Palin, who've posted thousands of negative comments.
Not the usual "leave Britney Spears alone!!" comebacks either.
Readers are seriously pissed at the magazine fawning over Obama and then trashing Palin. Many also say that these are family matters which have no bearing on her ability to be Vice President and should be ignored altogether.
SIDE NOTE: OK! seems to do a better job of balancing coverage with its dueling covers this week, both of which promote generally positive stories.
As Palin prepares for the biggest speech of her life tonight, debate over mainstream media (and celeb gossip) coverage of her has reached a fever pitch.
Let us know what you think in the poll below: What do you think of Us Weekly and other celebrity gossip sites' coverage of Sarah Palin?

Here are the photos, page down half way and see evidence from the summer myspace page of Mercede who is the sister of baby-daddy Levi Johnston. In the captions, she refers to Sarah Palin as “mommy-in-law” and the baby Trig as her new baby brother.

The myspace page has since been taken down, but the evidence remains. Someone will talk. It’s a small town. Lies have short legs. RNC: Get the truth out now and do some damage control. All you finger-pointing people telling others to lay off, how about sitting back and saying, ok maybe there’s some truth to be told. Those preaching the loudest usually have the biggest skeletons to hide.
Let the girl have her baby, out in public, and please let the mom be proud of them both. Is Bristol pregnant now? Who knows. Maybe maybe not. But she IS the mother of Trig.
And, here’s the Washington Post with the news about grandma Palin cutting funding in Alaska for help for pregnant teens. How ironic. Don’t teach them about birth control, and then throw them out on the street when they decide to keep their babies.

Still want to defend her? Still?
How about her vocal and RECENT views about seceding from the United States? Is this patriotism? The AIP’s goals are to infiltrate major political parties with the end mission of seceding from the US. Take all that oil and run. Nice. Good job AIP.
Secessionist Sarah:
