I've been watching the view since it started. I've always enjoyed listening to the views of the ladies. For me it is getting hard to actually watch the show. I'm glad you show different Views on this election but it is hard to listen and watch EH. She defends everything the republican party says and does even the ridiculous. Sometimes she just need to be an ear like most of us and not always a mouth. We get her view that McCain is perfect and Barack is not. Yes I get that sounds ignorant for me to say. That's why I'm tired of the broken record approach she gives day after day. If she actually spoke without being so bias it would be easier to take her serious and not so annoying. A long time viewer of the show ready to call it quits.

This is "THE VIEW", so everyone needs to be able to express themselves. I feel that "The View" is a show for all host's to express what there views are on anything that comes up on the show when they want to. Elizabeth is one sharp cookie but I do love her as I do the rest of the host's on the show. Elizabeth must not leave the show. I always like to hear what she has to say on the view. The show is very entertaing and keeps you up on most news. Maybe have a meeting two or three times weekly and express each ones views in front of the other hosts as well and become closer and know that the show is for each of you to express your view on each article that is going to come up on the next so many shows. Just a suggestion. Elizabeth is one smart "Cookie" and usually states what I am thinking but could not ever express myself as well as you all do. Keep the show going because I really like it and watch it every day. Thanks to Barbara Walters for having the show and at least you

Cannot stand EH. I e-mailed The View to tell them she needs to stop speaking over everyone as I am continually turning it off when she starts to speak. She is a young woman who thinks she knows everything....and really she is a fool! She needs to start listening to everyone. How can anyone respect a person who cannot listen to common sense. Love Joy and Whoopi and their sense of humor. No wonder Rosie lost it - who wouldn't sitting next to eh everyday and listening to her bs.

I would daresay that everyone who hates Elisabeth is a democrat and everyone who loves her is a republican. Let's get some objectivity here....Why can't Elisabeth speak her mind like the rest of the ladies? She is outnumbered 4 to 1 in her opinions and she has the right to be heard as well. I applaud her for trying.

wow....stumbled on this..... I watched the View several years ago and loved the show because of balanced discussions. I quit watching when Rosie appeared. Never have liked her and I love the fact that I can change a channel and she is not in my life. The View always seems to choose black women with issues. If I formed a view of black American women from this show, I'd think they are all fat and whine constantly. I wonder who watches this show anymore. The same "women" who still watch NOprah probably.... Please elect Obama so all you "stars" can pay more taxes to support me. Thanks.

Remarks by Elisabeth at RNC Luncheon last week (Sept 1-Sept 4 ) – In regards that her statement. She should publicly acknowledge or apologize as she states “…to the other wife of a political candidate…” for her remarks. I ‘m sure that ‘the other wife …” is probably taking this with a grain of salt. However, on the other hand, I am offended, appalled, and disturbed by the remark and Elisabeth should be embarrassed.
Elisabeth broke a CARDINAL RULE of business and hope severely reprimanded. The last couple of days (9-11 and 9-12) during the segment of HOT TOPICS she seemed extremely nervous and defensive that she might become the next HOT TOPIC for her statement. She is already opinionated and very sensitive when confrontation on her views. She really needs to listen more.
Personal VIEW Recap

To Elizabeth: It wouldn't be so bad to have to endure her (Elisabeth's) opinion if she didn't whine, and cry like a baby the entire time she was trying to express it. I'm so sick of her poor little victim act and her ridiculously backward viewpoints. I really wish she'd get a grip. BTW, it was EXTREMElY unprofessional of her to address a group of republican women and talk about Michelle Obama the way she did, when Michelle had recently been a guest on The View. It was a betrayal of Michelle, the show, and the privacy that should have been awarded any guest of the show. I think Barbara should AXE her sorry A--!

Elizabeth is fine, she's entitled to her opinion, and I agree that The View is a very biased view. I heard they are trying to get rid of her, and then they might as well call the show The Left View.
The Left (including most of the panel on The View) are upset because Sarah Palin stepped onto the scene and she resonates with the masses. The Democrats should be running away with this election, we have a very unpopular Republican President, we have an economy that is sinking fast, we have an unpopular war, so this should be the election of the Democrats! But the Democrats have no message that speaks to most Americans, so instead of asking themselves what is wrong with their views, they go attack the only person on either ticket that does speak to us. I always thought the Democrats were supposed to be the enlightened ones, the inclusive party, tolerant of other's views and lifestyles, but they have shown in this election how small-mined and intolerant they are of lifestyles they don't

someone had to pull the race card. really?? are we feeling a little disregarged during an election year? Elisabeth Hasselback was completely appropriate in her comments. Perhaps she should run for office. If you think she is a snob then good for her. I would act that way around this lot as well. But I don't think she's a snob. I think you ppl are threatened by her intelligence, beauty, success, career, family, strong beliefs-that many of you are highly hypocritical of among many of her other attributes. BTW- she IS a REPUBLICAN- of course she will interview other republicans. Next, why do ppl feel the need to critisize her personal life? What happened to class and consideration? Also, I don't think she cares if you respect her or not. She is obviously a better person than any of you. You would never hear from her lips the nasty things that you ppl have written. What a shame.

I have also stopped watching THE VIEW due to EH. I just love Whoopi, and I had no problems with Rosie. Joy gets a little uppity now and then, but I love her humor. Not that crazy about Sherri, but can deal with her, but EH is just miserable to watch. She is snobbish, high-handed, and terribly inconsiderate and hateful. I think Michelle Obama (and her whole family) are wonderful, and I think it's terrible for EH to have disrespected her in ANY way!!!!I hope Barbara tosses her out on her butt!

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is the brainless puppet of the republican party. She goes on the air and reads their talking points. I see her as an extremist conservative elitist. She is unable to stand up to defend her "friends" when wrongly mis-quoted or being mis used by the republican's henchmen. Loyalty is not shown to be her strongest suit, based on her own actions and words.
Elisabeth is a snob and most likely a hidden racist. But perhaps not. She is just an empty headed barbie doll for those to use her.

I am afraid I am going to have to go along with the majority.
E.H. is a hypocrite of the worst kind. Her views of morality, unwed mothers, irresponsible parents go right out the window when discussing High-ranking Republicans. Apparently she has another set of morals for them
Sick and tired of listening to her whine and cry when challenged.

I respect EH for standing up for her beliefs..and someone please tell Wooppi she has never been a slave .In fact, come to think of it, EH is the only one on the show that I respect.Joy should go to Vegas and never return..I was very angry at the disrespect Wooppi showed Sen. McCain when he was on the show..He is my hero and I was very insulted by her actions on the show.I won't watch again.

I have not watched The View for a few years because of people like Rosie, Whoopi, and Joy. Do they actually enjoy living in the United States? I think they should get shipped out to an island some where to rant and rage against this wonderful country we are fortunate to live in. Do you ladies ever concern yourselves with gasoline prices, food prices, etc.? I do, and I would say the majority of people do...the reality is, you don't live in the real world. The common people do...that would be us. We support John McCain and Sarah Palin and pray to God they are elected by the common, hard working people of America.

I watch the show to see what new information I can receive about how we as women "View" what's happening in the world. I am ashamed to said that the show has turned into a left-wing ad. Joy is not a Joy. She is rude and feels that everyone should view everything her way or you are dumb. Elizabeth has the right to speak her feeling on Obama (which was not on the show) just like Joy did on Larry King. She also speaks her feelings about the race rudely on the show which Elizabeth does not. I don't think Elizabeth has said anything remotely smug, snotty and down right wrong. Joy just shouts off her mouth.

I have not watched the view for a couple of years because of hasselbeck's snotty, smug attitude. It does not surprise me that she would gossip about Mrs. Obama. Hasselbeck got her start as a contestant on a reality show. Her look's and her knee's have gotten her this far in my opinion. I Love joy but not enough to risk putting my foot through the television. Harumphhhhhh.

While I agree the View is called that for a reason and a healthy debate from different view points is what the show is about...I can't stand Elizabeth Hasselbeck either. She acts like victim when one of the other women tries to get a word in edgewise-a typical republican tactic. It is especially creepy that she uses her unique position to back stab a guest on the show. You can bet that if one of the other hosts did the same to Cindy McCain it would be all over the place. There is a bias in the media and it ain't liberal!
