Demi Lovato to Star in Sonny With a Chance

Big news today for Demi Lovato fans:

First, the young singer/actress is schedued to star in hew own Disney Channel series. Based on an interview Lovato gave to Spanish magazine Para Todos, the show will reportedly be called Sonny With A Chance.

“It’s about a girl named Sonny having a chance to make it in [show] business,” said the Camp Rock star. “We filmed the first episode and we will continue to film the series through the next few months.”

Look for Sonny With a Chance to debut in February or March 2009.

You needn't wait that long to pick up Demi’s debut album, however: Don’t Forget is available today. Right now. Go buy it!
