Britney Spears Song Leak Gets Dude Fired

Yesterday, it was reported that Britney Spears' upcoming single “Womanizer” is being delayed, having been sent back for remixing and remastering.

Zomba Label Group/Jive Records spokesperson Wendy Washington confirmed on Monday that the single’s release has been pushed back by a week.

“Yes, the mix is being finalized and is expected to be done within a week,” she said of the first single from Britney's new album, Circus.

Meanwhile, an intern at Nashville’s 107.5 The River radio station who leaked a clip of “Womanizer” last week has apparently been fired.

“Don’t expect any posts from [Intern Adam Davis],” the station's site says.

“He is not here. We are sorry to inform you he is not on the air with Woody & Jim In The Morning. No details will be given at this time, however we are sure you can fish around the internet gossip blogs to figure stuff out.”
